The next day (2:12pm) was Saturday and grandma said that we should go to a pumpkin patch since it was so close to Halloween.-Ashlyn, grandma I would love to go I haven't been in so long.-Grandma, would you like to come Olivia.-Olivia, I wish I could but I have work in an hour.-Ashlyn, man that stinks.-Olivia, I got to head home and change but I love you guys have fun.-Ashlyn, love you to.-Grandma, I got you something we forgot to open presents so here you go. In front of my eyes were keys and I was so excited.-Ashlyn, you didn't.-Grandma, what to go check her out. We rushed outside and I saw a 2016 Nissan Altima and it was white and beautiful and I was so happy.-Ashlyn, thank you soooo so so much granny I love it so much.-Grandma, and you have your license now would you like to drive.-Ashlyn, absolutely.

At the pumpkin patch me and grandma took a whole bunch of pictures and took selfies with chickens and it was so nice. I hid behind a hay bell and tried to scare grandma and she screamed.-Granny, don't scare me like that I could've pee'd my pants baby.-Ashlyn, I love my car grandma thank you so much.-Granny, you deserve it angel. Grandma kissed me on the head and then we went inside this barn where they gave us apple cider and pumpkin pie and it was all good.-Grandma, honey I am tired.-Ashlyn, yeah we should head back to the house and crave our pumpkins.-Grandma, maybe later I need to take a nap.-Ashlyn, that's fine grandma.

By then it was Alr 4:30 so I figured I would clean the house up for grandma and take a hot bath. I didn't notice how tired I was driving so I turned on some music to try and help me stay awake.-Ashlyn, come on we're almost home. I looked at grandma and she was alr asleep. My eyes were drifting and we were heading over a bridge when I heard my grandma scream and when I opened my eyes it was to late I saw the ground and I knew we were going down.
The car hit the front and fell forward. My grandma wasn't awake as I tried to shake her she stayed unconscious, I saw blood drip off my forehead and my arm was bent and hurt like knives. My vision was blurry and I smelled smoke and I knew I had to get us out. I unbuckled myself and fell out my windsheild onto the ground and I crawled out, I when to my grandmas side and held her as I undid her seat belt.-Ashlyn, granny please wake up.-Bob, Oh My God!!! are you hurt ma'am.-Ashlyn, please call an ambulance my grandmas stuck. I tried to pull out my grandma but I didn't wanna cut up her back pulling her out I had no choice but to wait for help and try to wake her up.

The man came down the sloop to see what had happened as I was sitting my my grandma crying.-Bob, police are on there way, I can help you pull her out.-Ashlyn, we can't there's glass, she's not up it will cut her.-Bob, wait here I got some tarp.-Ashlyn, thank you so much. I watched him run to go help grandma, I looked up at the sky.-Ashlyn, mom what do I do please help me." Crys" My grandma squeezed my hand and whispered, what happened.-Ashlyn, I crashed the car grandma I'm so sorry, are you ok. Then I saw a problem I didn't even notice my grandma was bleeding bad. Her stomach had a big shard of glass in it and my grandma started breathing heavier.-Ashlyn, don't move grandma help is on the way. I tapped her face and talked to her.-Ashlyn, no no stay with me grandma, remeber our pumpkins we don't have to carve them now, I'm so sorry please don't leave me. This is all my fault.-Granny, I love you Ashlyn, this isn't your fault baby accidents happen.-Ashlyn, I did this to you,I love you so much please don't go.

The man came back and I cried to him and told him about grandmas injury he said not to remove it because it might cause more pain or bleeding. He told me to watch for the ambulance and that he would pull her out safely. I ran to the top of the bridge holding my arm and I saw the lights.-Ashlyn, OVER HERE HURRY. -Paramedic, ma'am are you ok.-Ashlyn , no I need your help my grandmas hurt I crashed the car and she has a big glass in her.-paramedic- team I need a stretcher a Vidal and a Doctor to help stop the bleeding. The man pulled my grandma out and onto the stretcher. I watched them carry her onto the back of the van and I followed her. One nurse was helping me and the other was trying to remove the glass and save my grandmas life. I heard the ladies voice but the only thing I could do was watch my grandma and the only thing I heard was my heart pounding.

The doctor pulled out the glass and my grandma started moaning. I starting crying and trying to tell my grandma I was sorry. I felt so sick I felt like they were hurting her. I shouldn't have drove I should've pulled over or called someone I can't believe I fell asleep and now my grandmas hurt. I couldn't stop crying, this is the worst pain I've ever felt. My heart was aching and my head was thriving and my arm felt like it was gonna fall off and my eyes were sore. All I could feel was pain.-Doctor, we stabilized her breathing but we can't seem to wake her back up, heart rate is high and blood pressure is low. We need to give her some more vitals and a blood bag she lost a lot. We made it to the hospital and my grandma was took into surgery to fix her stomach and back and I wasn't allowed to see her.

I was sitting in the waiting room and called Marissa and told her to get the the hospital and told her what happens I couldn't help but feel scared my grandmas all I have she's my only family, she saved me so many times so many years ago I can't imagine how bad she much be feeling. 20 minutes later Marissa rushed into the room and hugged me. I cried in her arms as Marissa was telling me it would be ok and trying to calm me down. A nurse told Marissa of my grandmas injured and signed for her surgery since they needed an adult. We waited together for 3 hours and I told Olivia about what happened but she couldn't come because of work but we FaceTimes and talked about the whole situation.-Olivia, I know your feeing that this is all your fault but I promise it's not and your grandma doesn't think so ether no one does. It was a terrible accident but your grandmas strong the surgery will go well.-Ashlyn, I'm just so scared thank you liv.

-Doctor, Melodies family.-Ashlyn, yes that's us.-Marissa, can we see her.-Doctor, yes but please follow me. I walked in and my granny was taped up to wires and machines and computers were blinking. I covered my mouth and whimpered I hated seeing her so lifeless. I wish that no one ever fells the pain I do for my grandma.-Doctor, she surgery was good but has some effects are permanent, your grandma, stomach is in tack but her lower back was so shattered that she might never walk again. Right now shes a comma,"vegetative state" meaning all we can do is check on her and make sure she's alive but there's nothing more we can do she must fight.-Ashlyn, when will see wake up.-Doctor, I'm sorry sweetheart cases like this earliest wake up is 7 months it could be months or years I'm so sorry.-Ashlyn, can I talk to her, would she hear me.-Doctor, I wish that was the case but unfortunately her brain is still trying to figure out if it's dying or sleeping so see won't be able to hear you or understand you for the time being. I laid by my grandmas side and started crying and I prayed to got to help save her life I couldn't take another lose I couldn't lose her to.

The police came into the building including the sheriff.-Sheriff, what's going on.-Marissa, it's Ashlyn's grandma.-Sheriff, is she ok. Marissa geared up and shook her head.-Marissa, they got into a car crash and Ashlyn broke her arm and her grandmas in a comma.-Sheriff, I'm so sorry sweetheart, also I need you and your boss to talk to each other about Ashlyn.-Marissa, she just got comfortable with her need life I don't want to take her away again.-Sheriff, there's nothing I can do Marissa she's 16 she's still a miner and needed a guardian. You have to find her a home, she has till noon tomorrow to pack her stuff and say goodbye to her grandma. Try to keep her within the county.-Marissa, as I looked at Ashlyn sleeping by her grandma my heart broke this girl has been threw so much in so little time and when she finally builds her life back it comes breaking down like a tornado. I only have 12 hours to find her a home and tell her her life is changing all over again. I'm so sorry Ashlyn.
