"I know how to get in," Ye Wenxin started to say, but found herself speechless for a moment.

"Brother Liangchen, do you know each other?" Zhao Teddy finally snapped out of his shock, watching the interaction between Ye Wenxin and Third Sister Liu Yansheng with a hint of amusement.

Ye Wenxin didn’t respond, but Liu Yansheng answered for her.

"Of course we know each other, otherwise I would have exposed your little tricks earlier," she said, pulling out the talisman that hadn’t been burned yet. "This little trinket might fool my senior sister, but it's not enough to deceive me."

Her smile was alluring, maintaining a human demeanor yet giving Ye Wenxin a glimpse of a fox's cunning. With no other choice, Ye Wenxin nodded, explaining her relationship with Liu Yansheng.

"We've met a few times."

"Not a few nights of romance?" Liu Yansheng interrupted, making Ye Wenxin roll her eyes and pinch her waist gently as a warning to stop talking nonsense.

Zhao Teddy's initial surprise turned into envy. Watching Liu Yansheng's charming demeanor, he fantasized about whether Ye Wenxin would let him also experience such a tantalizing woman.

His gaze was too intense. Disliking Zhao Teddy’s playboy aura, Liu Yansheng moved closer to Ye Wenxin.

With the revealing attire typical of Asura Hall, her graceful figure was more apparent at this angle, reminiscent of a night butterfly entrancing its prey with beauty.

Ye Wenxin wondered why she thought of such a comparison, gently pushing Liu Yansheng away to address Xi Mengxuan, who stood there dazed.

"Thank you, Miss Xi, for your help. It’s time for us to part ways," Ye Wenxin said, not wanting to drag the kind and clever girl into their mess.

Xi Mengxuan offered a bitter smile. "No, given the senior sister's nature, even if I go back, I’ll be under suspicion. I might as well leave with you."

Ye Wenxin felt guilty. Their second senior sister was notoriously harsh at Asura Hall, and even if Xi Mengxuan returned, she'd suffer. Plus, her pure nature didn’t suit Asura Hall. Taking her along seemed the best option.

However, they were heading to the forbidden area on the back mountain. Zhao Teddy and Liu Yansheng were already burdens; adding Xi Mengxuan would be challenging.

‘Wait, adding one more burden won't change anything.’

Realizing this, Ye Wenxin put on a remorseful expression, "It's my fault for involving you."

"Not at all, I should thank you. Without you, I wouldn’t have made up my mind," Xi Mengxuan replied with a smile, their soft-spoken exchange appearing intimate.

Liu Yansheng felt a pang of jealousy, noticing Ye Wenxin treated her differently compared to others. She should have been the one sought by Ye Wenxin, yet now she felt unnecessary.

"Ahem... Shouldn’t Young Master Ye show some gratitude? After all, I risked a lot to help you," Liu Yansheng said with feigned vulnerability, but her aura betrayed her coquettishness.

Ye Wenxin disliked such affected behavior, especially since she wasn't swayed by it. She raised an eyebrow, stepping a bit closer to Xi Mengxuan.
