When they made it back into the cafeteria, there were 30 minutes of lunch left. "Where are we sitting?" asked Ka'Tai. "Um..., oh, well my tray is over there, so we sit here." suggested Ja'Kari pointing to the table. "Sure, whatever." said Ka'Tai starting to walk to the table Ja'Kari pointed to. "Okay, after you then." said Ja'Kari sarcastically as he started to walk to the table, behind Ka'Tai.
Once they got to the table, Ka'Tai realized that they were right next to Le'Relle and BJ. "Oh, look Relle! Here's Ka'Tai and his new friend Ja'Kari." said BJ happily. "Yeah, can we sit, B?" asked Ka'Tai. "Oh, sure Tai, of course." said BJ. "Thanks B." said Ka'Tai as they both sat down across from Le'Relle and BJ. "Hey, are you okay Ka'Tai?" asked BJ. "Yeah, that was pretty rude, what they did to you back there." said Le'Relle chiming in. Ka'Tai said nothing. He just looked up and starred at Le'Relle. "Tai, you alright bro?" asked Ja'Kari. Ka'Tai still said nothing, he just starred into Le'Relle's eyes. "She has the most beautiful eyes. They look like a cinnamon brown. I-" Ka'Tai thought to himself before his thoughts of Le'Relle's eyes were cut off by Ja'Kari. "Tai? Tai. Tai. Tai! Ka'Tai!" said Ja'Kari wondering what was wrong with Ka'Tai. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine." said Ka'Tai snapping back into reality and looking back down to the table. "Are you sure? Cuz you was just in la la land and I don't feel like jumping over Cotton Candy Cliff again to bring you back bruh." said Ja'Kari laughing. BJ started laughing too. Le'Relle looked at Ka'Tai for a while and then started to giggle so it wouldn't be so awkward. "Shut up Ja'Kari." said Ka'Tai starting to laugh because Le'Relle was laughing.
"We should really be friends." suggested BJ. "Yeah, BJ, we should." said Le'Relle. "Well, I'm down. What about you Tai?" asked Ja'Kari. "Yeah Ka'Tai, don't you want us all to be friends?" asked Le'Relle. "Yea! I mean uh..., yea I guess that's cool or whatever."said Ka'Tai trying to play it off as if he didn't care. "All right then. Well, I pledge this oath," said BJ putting his hand in the middle of the table if the four of them. "We will be best friends, forever?" said BJ. "Forever." said Le'Relle putting her hand on BJ's. "Forever, I guess." said Ka'Tai putting his hand down right after Le'Relle put her hand down so he could hold her hand some type of way. "Ha, forever." said Ja'Kari putting his hand in. And from then forth, they were bestfriends.
