Taehyung stumbled as the guards shoved him roughly into the cold, dim room, the door slamming shut behind him with an ominous thud. He winced, his shoulder throbbing from the impact, but he kept his head high, refusing to let them see the fear swirling inside him. The faint sound of footsteps echoed in the hallway, growing louder as they approached. The door creaked open again, and the doctor stepped in, his expression unreadable.

Hanbin stood just outside, his arms crossed, his presence a constant weight of malice in the air. He motioned for the guards to close the door, his voice calm but laced with authority. “Check him. Thoroughly.”

The guards exchanged a brief glance, then stepped out, leaving Taehyung alone with the doctor. The door clicked shut behind them, and Taehyung’s heart pounded in his chest. The doctor moved toward him, his demeanor clinical and detached, as though this were just another routine task.

“Sit,” the doctor said, his voice low and curt.

Taehyung hesitated for a moment, his instincts screaming at him to resist, but he knew there was no point. He sat stiffly on the edge of the bed, his hands clenching into fists as the doctor began his examination.

The entire ordeal felt surreal, invasive, and unnecessary. Taehyung clenched his teeth, holding back the urge to protest. He knew the truth---he wasn’t pregnant. He couldn’t be. This was just another ploy, another twisted move in Hanbin’s game to strip him of his dignity and autonomy. The examination was over quickly, the doctor stepping back without a word. He grabbed his bag and moved to the door, his expression as blank as ever.

The door opened, and the guards stepped back in. Taehyung watched in tense silence as the doctor slipped past them and into the hallway. He followed instinctively, determined to hear what would happen next.

He stopped in his tracks just outside the room, his blood turning to ice at the doctor’s next words.

“He’s pregnant,” the doctor announced, his tone matter-of-fact, as though delivering the weather forecast.

Taehyung froze, his mind reeling. What? His breath hitched as he tried to process the absurdity of the statement. Pregnant? The word echoed in his mind, absurd and impossible. He stumbled back a step, shaking his head as if trying to clear away the confusion.

What the hell was this doctor talking about? He wasn’t pregnant. He couldn’t be. It was biologically impossible---not just because of his nature but because he and Jungkook had never been that close. Taehyung’s chest tightened as he fought to steady his breathing. His hands curled into fists, his nails digging into his palms as he tried to cling to logic.

Hanbin’s expression twisted with pure disgust, his lips curling as if the very idea offended him. “So it’s true,” he said, his voice dripping with venom. “You’ve been carrying an heir.”

Taehyung’s stomach churned at the accusation, his confusion giving way to anger. “I’m not---” he began, but his voice was drowned out by Hanbin’s cold, cutting order.

“Abort it,” Hanbin said sharply, his words slicing through the air like a blade.

Taehyung blinked, his breath catching as the gravity of the situation sank in. Abort? He wasn’t even pregnant. How could they believe this? He stared at the doctor, his voice trembling with fury. “This is ridiculous. I’m not pregnant. You’re lying!”

But the doctor didn’t flinch. Instead, he adjusted his glasses and spoke calmly, as though Taehyung’s protests were of no consequence. “According to my findings, you are approximately one month along. The pregnancy cannot be terminated with medication alone. A surgical procedure will be required.”
