I woke up showered, got dressed, made food etc. The message is really bothering me and I am currently sitting at the kitchen table with Dru so I might as well ask her about it.
I sip on my coffee and look over at her "I need to show you something I received last night..." I take out my phone and open the message before showing it to her.
Dru reads it and looks at me "Whoa, What the fucking fuck is this?" She asks as I put the phone down "I don't know! I got back around 3am and I'd been feeling eyes on me since I left Jaggers and then ping! I get that" I sip my coffee and sigh "How does this person know about your books?" She asks leaning on the table.
"I was reading the book in bed so either they saw it and googled real quick or...They've been watching me for a bit" I groan and sit my cup down.
"That is so fucked up...Want me to find and eat them?" She asks flashing her eyes.
I shake my head "No. I wanna see how far they'll go and if I need to...I'll get my powers back. Jagger mentioned that I wouldn't be able to keep this up for long due to an upcoming threat...Think this is it?" I ask fiddling with my necklace.
"Could be, He's a prick for not telling you what it was" She huffs.
"Right?! You give the guy some powers and suddenly he goes all oh nooo can't tell you that and mess with fate and future outcomes bla bla bla" I grumble leaning back in my seat.
"Ugh meeen~ Can I eat him?" She asks dead serious.
"He'd be chewy, he's all muscle like JeSuS that man is a wall" I swoon dramatically.
"At least theres hardly any fat~ And besides I can make him tender for consumption" She winks making me giggle "Smart but no, Sadly I do have a soft spot for him" I sigh "I will kick his ass if this nearly kills me though" I stretch cracking my bones "Any plans for today? I'm going to see Butcher" I smile.
"Maybe I do have some plans~" She teases.
"Oooooh kinky kind?" I gasp "Are you secretly seeing someone?" I ask wiggling my eyebrows.
"To be determined if it is either of those" She giggles.
"Well if it is, I hope it goes well and if it doesn't...I get to murder them" I wink.
She raises a brow "Are you gonna murder one of your friends?" She asks and I think for a moment "Wait..." My eyes widen "Did Frenchie ask you out?!" I bounce in my seat.
"Yeah he hunted me down like I was a buffalo and he was a starving wild man" She laughs.
"I'm proud of him, He might be dumb but he means well and from the stuff I regrettably peeked at in his head? He's had abusive trauma from his dad and some hoe called Nina" I shake my head because Frenchie has had it so rough.
"Mmm think he'd let me eat them?" She grins making me giggle "I bet he would if you let him watch" I wink.
"It that a kinky thing~?" She laughs. I shrug "He's curious about you, You know he'd love seeing your dragon ass eating his tormentors" I smile.
"Think his ass could even handle finding out I'm a dragon?" She asks rubbing her arms "Honestly? I think so, He's pretty chill about most things and if he can't...eat him" I giggle.
"Mm sounds good~ What are you gonna do about the stalker?" She asks "Let it play out for a little bit, see how far it goes, and if I get real concerned...We can handle it together" I grin.
"Just keep me updated ok?" She looks at me firmly "I promise" I get up and kiss her head softly "Let me know how it goes with Frenchie" I purr.
"I promise~ And if you don't see him again...I ate him, whoops~" She giggles.
