A Child of True Blessing
In the celestial expanse, where the heavens met the void, two hearts, ablaze with passion and love, collided. The Moon Dragon God, with a heart as delicate as moonlight, met the Sun God, whose essence burned with the intensity of a thousand suns. Their encounter, a cosmic dance of fire and shadow, was a testament to the timeless power of love.
Selene, the Moon Dragon God, perched on the window pane of her shrine, her gaze fixed on the luminous orb hanging in the velvet sky. The night was hushed, the symphony of crickets silenced, yet her moon, a celestial beacon, stole all the attention.
"What a beauty." the Moon Dragon God, breathed, a sigh of contentment escaping her lips. It was her light, her ethereal glow, that painted the night with serenity and wonder.
The flickering glow of her night lamp revealed a flurry of tiny wings, as fireflies, trapped within the warm light, frantically darted and danced, desperate to escape their luminous prison. It was a gift to her beloved. Selene got up and hummed a beautiful melody as she danced all alone. The dawn, usually a welcome sight, now seemed waiting for eternity. Her heart thrummed with excitement, yearning for the moment she could finally present her gift to the Sun Dragon God.
It was 5 AM, Selene quickly darted her way outside her shrine with her night lamp. Revealing a beautiful pond that shimmered under the moonlight, with a graceful Sakura tree standing beside it. It was their spot, a place where the dawn's first light met the fading twilight, a fleeting moment of magic. It was their only time to meet and embrace each other.
"My love..."
Selene's eyes sparkled with happiness as she saw her beloved running toward her, arms outstretched in embrace. Time seemed to pause as they embraced under the Sakura tree, a single petal falling like a blessing upon their intertwined hands. Their eyes met, both gazing up at the tree with a smile of contentment.
"I have a gift for you, my love." Selene whispered, a shy smile gracing her lips as she held out the night lamp. Inside is a collection of fireflies, their luminescence extinguished, pulsed with a bittersweet glow. Selene's gaze, a mixture of pride and embarrassment, lingered on the lamp, her heart pounding with anticipation. The Sun Dragon God, however, only chuckled at her endearing awkwardness, his warmth radiating as he gently kissed her forehead.
"And I have a gift for you, as well." Selene's eyes met the Sun Dragon God's, a radiant orb, pulsing with warmth, blooming in the hand of the sun dragon god like a miniature sun.
"A Golden Tear," the Sun Dragon God murmured, his voice losing its usual warmth, "that I must give to you for safety." The light seemed to dim in his eyes, a shadow of concern replacing the usual joy. Selene, sensing a shift in his demeanor, furrowed her brow in confusion. A prickle of unease ran down her spine, a whisper of something amiss in the air.
"I can no longer explain to you what this is for," the Sun Dragon God said, his voice a low rumble, "but you need to keep it safe and hidden. Only our offspring can inherit this magical energy, and use it to stop the other Dragon Gods." His words, heavy with unspoken urgency, hung in the air as he embraced Selene one last time, his warmth a fleeting comfort against the growing chill of his absence. With a final, lingering kiss, he vanished, leaving behind only the echo of his voice and the faint scent of sunlit embers.
Selene stood frozen, the warmth of the Sun Dragon God's embrace fading like a dying ember. The Golden Tear, heavy in her hand, confusion churned in her heart. Why the secrecy? Why the urgency? And what threat loomed so large that it required such a sacrifice? She looked around, the tranquil beauty of their spot now tinged with a chilling emptiness. The Sakura tree, once a symbol of their love, now seemed to mock her with its serene indifference. Selene clutched the Golden Tear tightly, she knew she had to keep it safe, hidden from the world, a promise she would fulfill even in the face of her own bewilderment. She knew she would find answers, unravel the mystery that shrouded the Golden Tear. But for now, she could only hold onto the memory of his embrace, a fragile hope in the face of an uncertain future.
Days bled into weeks, each sunrise a painful reminder. The familiar spot beneath the Sakura tree, once a haven of warmth and laughter, now echoed with a hollow silence. Selene would come, drawn by habit and a desperate hope, but each time, she was met only by the cold, unyielding gaze of the moon.
One morning, Selene felt a strange warmth inside her. She touched her belly, and for the first time, she felt a faint pulse, a tiny flicker of life. She stumbled back, her heart pounding against her ribs, a whirlwind of emotions swirling within her. Could it be? Was she... pregnant? She remembered the Sun Dragon God's words about the other Dragon Gods and the Golden Tear he gave her. This child, this tiny spark of hope, was his legacy. A fierce determination ignited within her. She would protect her child, fulfill the Sun Dragon God's mission, and fight for their future, even in the face of darkness. She would be his legacy, a beacon of light.
Months have passed, a radiant light filled the room as beautiful baby girl was born to carry the legacy, her eyes reflecting the wisdom of the stars and the gentle glow of the moon. Her eyes, like pools of starlight, reflected the wisdom of the heavens, while a gentle luminescence, like the soft glow of the moon, bathed her features. Her name, whispered like a prayer, a graceful night and a luminous day, echoed the celestial beauty she embodied.
Selene's heart swelled with a love so deep it seemed to echo the vastness of the night sky. Gazing down at her daughter, a radiant smile bloomed on her face. "A child of true blessing, my dear Maeko."
