Chapter 9: Under The Moon Dancing

Liu Kang, Serenity, and Scrapes entered the castle where they could meet up with Stolas, the Prince of Hell.
"Serenity, what brings you, dear?" Stolas said, looking forward to seeing her again before he noticed Liu Kang standing beside her. "And who is this handsome charming?"
"I've brought my husband, Liu Kang," Serenity said.
Against my will, Serenity. Against my will. Liu Kang groaned in his thought, feeling sick in his stomach.
"What's that!? Husband!? He even looks alive to me!" Stolas said in shock.
"Actually, I'm a human and I'm from Earthrealm," Liu Kang said.
"Human!?" Stolas said in shock.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, sir. I'm Liu Kang." Liu Kang said.
"Stolas, we would like to go upstairs to visit the land of living and meet Liu Kang's family," Serenity said, pointing at the sky.
"Land of the living? Now, why go up there when people are dying to get down here?" Stolas asked curiously.
"Sir, I beg you for your help, it means so much to me-- I mean, us..." Liu Kang said with a pleading look.
"I don't know, it's just not natural." Stolas shrugged off.
"Please, Stolas, surely there must be something you can do," Serenity pleaded with him. She showed Stolas said puppy look.
Stolas sighed as he touched her hands and rubbed them softly. "Let me see what I can do." Then he brought the magic book before he could create the portal for the two of them. "Just remember, when you want to come back, say 'hopscotch'."
They nodded in response. Then Stolas created the portal and let them go through it.
Once back home, they found themselves in the forest. Serenity began to dance around under the moon after seeing the butterfly flying around. Watching her dance around made Liu Kang impressed sometimes. He wished to dance with her, but he wanted to see the only person he truly liked.
As she continued, Serenity tripped over the twig and fell. Liu Kang decided to help her as he put her leg back.
Then Liu Kang asked Serenity to wait in the forest while he rushed off to see Kitana, wanting to confess his wish to marry her as soon as possible.
