"But do you think they're ready?" Iris asked me as I looked back at the 3 we had met at our previous meeting with Widow. Outside of them we had 4 others that would also be our runners. Collectively, they're good. But you're group is only as strong as your weakest link.                               "Nope. I need it to be a rock solid foundation and if I have to question anything, I'mma say no." I told her and she nodded her head at that.                                                                                                                  "I agree. It's something about this whole thing that doesn't sit right with me either. Like if it was an individual mission, I could see them all being able to pull it off, but all together..." she started.  "As a unit, fuck no! Like there's too many chiefs and not enough indians." Mar said quickly.             "Open to interpretation." Jay said and we all just looked at him. "I'm saying because look at all of us. We're alphas, but we can run it together flawlessly. Maybe it's a lil pre-judgment." he said.   "But would you be willing to put your life on it? That's really the question that we have to answer in the end, because that's exactly what it could be." I said and we all just looked at each other. "Exactly! You wouldn't so...this is where we're at." I said as I sat back down.                              "Okay so then put them in drills. There's no way to know unless you allow something to play out. You don't wanna risk a live mission, so create one then." Jay said.                                                        "He got a point." Mar said.                                                                                                                                                 "No one is saying that he doesn't but at the same time, who is gonna come up with that?" I said and they all again looked around. "Right, me. So here we are." I said as I just sat there and accepted my fate. "Y'all can send them home, I'll figure it out from here." I said as I pulled out some paper and began to think up something that may be close to what we may go through. I sat there for what seemed like an eternity before I started to draw when I heard the door open. Iris walked in and looked at the table.                                                                                                                         "I figured you might need a hand." she said as she came and sat down next to me and looked at the paper. "So...what you thinking up?" she asked me.                                                                                        "So remember that job y'all did with Jay and Dom?" she nodded. "Something to that effect. More like a similar scenario but I need a few more twists, kike clearly D had to pull the trigger there, but what if someone else had been in the house? You know what I mean?" I said.                 "That makes sense because it was always a possibility and that would bring more angles to it for them as a group." She said as she began to map out how the house was set up and I put the pawns onto the paper. Together, this was so much easier. After about another hour we had came up with a few added surprises to keep them on their toes during the drill. "You're actually good at this Tony. And you be all quiet and shit, look at you." she said laughing.                                                "I be quiet so I can hear more. Something you might not ever know nothing about." I said laughing and she laughed and then hit me in my arm. "My bad sis, I'm just saying."                              "I mean somebody has to be the bad guy. If y'all did it, they would call you a dick. When it's me, there's a surprise factor. I mean sure I'm probably a bitch but it's cool." she said with a shrug.        "That might be what they call you, but that's not what you are. You're tough as hell. Shit probably the toughest person I ever did meet for real. I feel like you probably could've planned that without me for real." I said as we started to deconstruct it and put it away.                                    "That's only because I lived it, you're more analytical than me when it comes to this shit. I react in the heat of the moment and you really think it through first. I may be able to get shit shaking, but without a brain to the muscle, it's misplaced energy." She said. I laughed. "What?"                       "A lil while back I was sitting around questioning my purpose in life, right? Basically what I got from Jose is I'm a good person to take direction from and I'm needed to lead."                                      "True, you're a natural born leader, it's just in you. How the hell you end up questioning your purpose though?" she said sounding surprised.                                                                                                   "I just feel like I just be looking at everybody doing their own side things and it's like I don't have that. Like what is it that I'm good at? You know what I mean?" I said to her.                                              "Bruh you literally could do whatever you want. You're a beast on the court with leadership skills. You could be a coach, a life coach, a counselor, obviously you could go pro...the outcomes are literally endless, but it does no good for us to see it and you not. Like clearly Toya saw more in you than you saw for yourself and that motivated you to do and be more, right?" she asked me and I nodded. "So...imagine what you could accomplish if you'd take that same focus and channel it into anything else? You'd be unstoppable. You can ponder your purpose or you can show it off to the world. Just don't allow your doubts to overshadow your abilities." she said. I was actually caught off guard because Iris really dropped some gems right quick and it was so unexpected but I needed to hear that again for real.                                                                                           "I appreciate that, thanks! For all of it." I told her.                                                                                             "Don't mention it. Next time, I'mma have to charge you. The game is to be sold, not told." We both died laughing. Why was she like this?                                                                                                         "For a second there, I thought you grew a heart."                                                                                                 "You'll never find another with a heart like mine." she said as we went our separate ways. Chick is fried, but wise for sure.
