Chapter 1- Home sweet home (Lilith's pov)

I step off the plane and pause outside of the door and take a deep breath. The smell of Boston brings back so many memories from when I was last here. The smell of pumpkin spice in the air since Halloween was coming up.
"Lilith! Sweetheart over here!"
I jump a little and open my eyes quickly. There I see my father waiting at the end of the gate. I run up to him and jump into his arms
"Dad! I missed you so much"
"I missed you too"
After we were done saying our hellos we stopped by the Starbucks in the airport before we left.
"So how have you been sweetie?"
I turn to my dad and think about what to tell him. I've always been super close with my dad, we just click. Me and my mother on the other hand are polar opposites. And when John, my step dad, and my mom got together, it was like hell living there.
I quickly snap myself out of my trance and look at my dad
"I've been pretty good, minus the whole fight I had with mom"
I hear my dad sigh as he drove out of the parking lot of the airport. My dad knows how much a pain my mom is, and after the fight I had with her, their relationship only got worse.
"Well I'm glad you're exited to be back in Boston. Oh, also I told Mary-Lou that you were coming back"
Mary-Lou... god how I love her. She is the sweetest soul I have ever met.
"Oh, nice what did she say?"
"She just said that she misses you a lot and can't wait to see how much you've grown. But the boys don't know yet"
"Oh... the boys.."
I had almost forgotten about them. Matt, Nick and... Chris. Just saying his name makes me nervous.

     Once we got home I threw myself onto my bed and stared at the ceiling.
I was stuck with my own thoughts, and that's a pretty scary thing. All the "what ifs" that popped into my head made me even more worried.
What's gonna happen when they see me in school? What if they hate me? What if they don't remember me or my name? No snap out of it Lilith. They can't be mad at you. That would be crazy.
"LILITH! FOODS READY!"
I look over at the time and it says 19:05 (7:05). I had completely lost track of time and had been in my room for almost 2 hours.
"Coming!" I shouted back and hurried downstairs
"I made your favorite pasta"
"Thanks dad this looks amazing"
I quickly eat my food and help my dad do the dishes. I am about to walk up to my room but suddenly my dad stops me
"Hunny can you sit down please?"
I stop and turn around with a slightly confused expression on my face.
"Yeah why? What's up?"
"Listen, I know that you haven't seen the boys a very long time I noticed that you were very quiet during dinner. Trust me they won't be mad. I promise"
I stop for a second, replaying his words in my head. They won't be mad. I promise.

     Later that night I was laying on my back. Still thinking about what my dad had said after dinner. I really hope they won't be mad, I missed them so much it hurts. But we all just cut off contact with each other except for me and charlotte. Char has been my best friend since day one. We are basically like sisters and I couldn't imagine life without her. Just then I hear a ding come from my phone. It was Charlotte
