Chapter Two

Artimis couldn't remember a time when she felt this sick to her stomach, Elijah was in the same city as her, granted he was daggered, but it didn't make her feel any better to know that she had to face him soon

The girl couldn't face Elijah, not after everything that they went through, she didn't even bother to give him an explanation on why she even left, she just disappeared

Flashback— Mystic Falls 2011

It was currently about one am, after the infamous mikaelson ball Artimis felt tired, her heels were causing her feet to hurt and her dress was too tight in all the wrong places, she just wanted to sleep but she couldn't go to sleep without speaking to Elijah first, she had to thank him for everything him and his family has done for her and Jade. She had to thank him before she left

Having left jade a home to get ready for bed the newborn vampire stayed in Mikaelson's mansion after just about everyone left and headed toward the bedroom of the original

She's never really been in his room, she's always just past by it on the way to her own room in the home, but never entered the room as a fear of envision of privacy, But Elijah continuously reassured her that she was always welcome in his room so right now, she's using that to her advantage.

Once she walks in her mouth opens and closes in confusion, it was not what she was expecting, everything was the opposite of the whole house, everything is black and grey

Once you walk in, you immediately see two floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the town from the second floor, then to your right is a king-sized bed with two black nightstands on either side, and a chandelier right in the middle of the room

when Artimis walks in further she runs her finger over the pretty dresser, then the turns to her left and there's a whole other part of the room, there's a seating area with his tv mounted on top of said seating area, then two doors, which she's guessing leads to his bathroom and closet

She heads to the door she's hoping is his closet and when she opens it, she's met with a huge walk-in closet, she walks in and runs her finger over the expensive suits and some of his white shirts

Something about this is weirdly attractive

Just as she goes to look at all of his expensive watches she immediately feels his presence behind her making her flush from embarrassment

She probably looks like a stalker

"Artimis" his voice sends shivers down her spine, the girl turns around and smiles at the original in front of her

"Elijah"

"Artimis" he teased

The girl smiled and just stood there, not sure of what to do, until she eventually realized that she probably looks very weird and shakes her head "sorry that I was just snooping, I just didn't expect this" she says making her way out of the closet with Elijah following close behind

"And what did you expect?" He asked as he moved to his dresser to get out a long white shirt noticing how uncomfortable she seemed in the dress, after he had gotten the shirt he smiled "sit" he said gesturing to his bed
