Chapter One: We Fucked Up

It was midnight. Definitely cold and misty. It was horrible. For some reason, my friend and I had the brilliant idea to sneak into the abandoned and empty school on one of the most dangerous streets ever. Cool, right? It was really just to win a bet that we had made. We had to sneak into the school, stay the night, and leave a cool decorated pumpkin there. So obviously, I made the coolest pumpkin ever, an Alastor Cat pumpkin. So we were there, with the snacks, flashlights, sleeping bags, water, the pumpkin, and regret. So much regret.

One of my first thoughts when going into the school was, “It smells horrible in here.”, my second thought was “Wait, they had  literally closed this school because animals kept dying here, no wonder it smells.” We walked through the school, trying to find the P.E room. The only reason why was because we figured it was the biggest and safest room. We could’ve gone to the theater room and slept there in the seats, but one of the very old lights probably would’ve fallen and crushed us. I did not feel like calling the police and explaining why I was in an abandoned school, why we were basically trespassing, and why half of my friend’s body was crushed by an old light. The school had been made in the 50’s, maybe earlier, and had never gotten a remodel. Anything and everything was a death trap.
