The next day, life returned to its routine, albeit with the occasional spark of excitement from recent events. Morgan, Harley, and Peter walked into their college campus together, the chatter of students buzzing around them. After the whirlwind of celebrations—the baby shower and engagement—things seemed to settle down.
“Ready to face the world again?” Harley asked, nudging Morgan with a playful grin.
Morgan rolled her eyes, her engagement ring glinting in the sunlight. “Always.”
Peter chuckled beside them, carrying a calm confidence. “Let’s just hope the world is ready for us.”
But their hope for a peaceful day was short-lived. As they entered the main hallway, Jason and Rachel, the notorious sibling bullies of the campus, appeared out of nowhere.
Jason smirked, crossing his arms as he stepped in front of them. “Well, well, well. Look who decided to grace us with their presence. The little power couple and their third wheel.”
Peter’s eyes narrowed, already bracing for trouble.
Rachel joined in, her tone dripping with mockery. “Congratulations on the engagement, Morgan and Harley. I guess desperation really does bring people together, huh?” She then turned to Peter with a smirk. “And you, Peter. Married and expecting? What are you, 40? Or just plain stupid?”
Harley stiffened, his jaw clenching, but Morgan stepped forward, her voice sharp and unwavering. “If you’re done with your little show, Rachel, we have better things to do. Maybe you should focus on your own miserable lives instead of obsessing over ours.”
Jason chuckled darkly, clearly enjoying the scene. “Touchy, aren’t we? Let’s see how long that engagement lasts. Betting it’s over before graduation.”
Peter stepped between them, his Spidey senses on alert. “That’s enough. Say another word about my family, and you’ll regret it.”
Rachel tilted her head mockingly. “Family? Please. You’re just a teenage screw-up pretending to play house. You think having a baby makes you special? It makes you pathetic.”
Before anyone could react, Harley took a step forward, his fists clenched. “Say one more thing about Morgan or MJ, and I swear you’ll find out just how ‘pathetic’ I can be.”
Peter placed a hand on Harley’s shoulder, pulling him back. “Don’t. They’re not worth it.”
Jason laughed, clearly unbothered. “Aw, look at this. The protective brother and the wannabe fiancé. It’s almost cute.”
Morgan smirked, taking Harley’s hand. “We’re done here. Let’s go, guys.”
As they walked away, Peter glanced back briefly, his eyes cold and unyielding. Jason and Rachel stood frozen under his glare, their smug expressions faltering.

Reassurance
Once outside the building, Morgan turned to Harley and Peter.
“Why do they always have to ruin everything?” she asked, frustration evident in her voice.
Harley squeezed her hand gently. “They’re just jealous, Morg. Don’t let them get to you.”
Peter nodded, his expression softening. “Harley’s right. People like that thrive on making others miserable. You’ve got to rise above it.”
Morgan sighed but managed a small smile. “Thanks, both of you. I’m just glad I have you guys.”
Peter grinned. “Always. And hey, if they ever cross the line again, you’ve got a whole family of Avengers ready to back you up.”
Harley chuckled, pulling Morgan into a comforting side hug. “We’ve got this.”
As the trio headed toward their next class, their bond felt stronger than ever. Despite the challenges, they knew they could face anything—as long as they stood together.
The Aftermath
As Morgan, Harley, and Peter made their way to their next class, the tension from the encounter began to dissipate. Still, Peter couldn’t shake the gnawing sense of unease. Jason and Rachel’s words had crossed a line, and he knew they wouldn’t stop there.
“Are you okay, Morgan?” Peter asked, glancing at his sister.
Morgan nodded, though her expression betrayed lingering frustration. “Yeah, I’ll be fine. I’m just tired of their nonsense. It’s like they have nothing better to do.”
Harley wrapped an arm around her shoulders, his voice calm and steady. “They’re not worth your energy, Morg. Let’s focus on what actually matters—our goals, our lives, and our future.”
Peter smiled at Harley’s words but kept his thoughts to himself. As much as he wanted to believe the bullies wouldn’t escalate things, his instincts told him to stay vigilant.

Back at Stark Tower
Later that evening, the trio returned home. The sprawling Stark Tower felt like a safe haven after the events of the day. As they stepped into the main living room, Tony and Steve were seated on the couch, discussing something quietly.
Peter wasted no time. “Dad, Pops, we need to talk.”
Tony raised an eyebrow, immediately sensing the serious tone. “What’s up, kid?”
Peter explained the encounter with Jason and Rachel, detailing their taunts and how they’d targeted not just Morgan and Harley but also MJ and their unborn child.
Steve’s jaw tightened, his protective instincts flaring. “They said all that?”
Peter nodded. “Yeah, and I don’t think they’re done. I didn’t want to cause a scene, but I can’t just ignore it either.”
Tony leaned back, his expression thoughtful. “Bullies like that are a dime a dozen. But when they start crossing lines, that’s when we intervene.”
Morgan frowned. “I don’t want you guys stepping in and making things worse. This is our fight.”
Harley nodded in agreement. “We can handle them.”
Steve smiled gently. “We’re not saying we’re going to fight your battles for you. But you’re part of this family, and that means you don’t face anything alone. If they escalate, we’ll take action—smart, strategic action.”
Tony smirked, his eyes glinting with mischief. “And if they try anything else, let’s just say we have ways of making people reconsider their life choices.”

Family Bond
After dinner, the family gathered in the common room for some downtime. MJ was curled up on the couch, sipping tea while Peter sat beside her, one hand protectively resting on her bump. Morgan and Harley were playing a board game at the coffee table, their playful banter filling the room.
Steve glanced at Tony, who was watching the scene with a rare, soft expression.
“They’re strong,” Steve said quietly.
Tony nodded. “They take after us.”
Peter looked up, catching their conversation. “What are you two whispering about over there?”
Steve chuckled. “Just how lucky we are.”
Tony grinned. “And how we’re going to keep it that way.”
The room filled with warmth as laughter and conversation flowed freely. Despite the challenges they faced, the Starks and their extended family knew they could weather anything together.
But as Peter glanced out the window, his Spidey senses prickling faintly, he couldn’t shake the feeling that Jason and Rachel weren’t done yet. For now, though, he focused on the moment—on his wife, his family, and the future they were building together.
