"Daddy, are we going to uncles?" my six years old daughter asks while finishing her cereal.

"Yes, sunshine, because daddy and uncles have practice" I told her the season hasn't started yet, it's still pre-season. We still have two weeks to prepare.

"Can I watch? I don't like the office" Whenever I brought her to our practice she was always at the coach's office with the assistant coach or mostly with the interns.

I looked at her from the kitchen "Hmm... why is that sunshine?"

She shakes her tiny head and grins "Just want to watch my uncles, play ball and I want to play too if grandpa coach will let me play too."

Rory is so fond of my teammates, and my teammates are so fond of Rory as well they treat her like their own niece. Our coach let my daughter call him grandpa coach according to him Rory is like a granddaughter to him. I'm happy that everyone around me treats and loves my daughter like a family since I'm the only one she got aside from my parents.

I walked towards my daughter. "How about this we will ask grandpa coach if he says yes then you can watch the team practice and then if we are done and uncles doesn't have plans or is tired you can play with them, how about that sunshine?"

She gave a thumbs up and a big smile "Great plan daddy! I'm done, are we going now?"

"Put that in the sink first, young lady, then meet me at the door." I told her, she moved and put her bowl in the sink. "Don't forget your bag sunshine" I say as I walk to the door.

"Okay Daddy!" she shouts back

The drive was quite loud but the loud I wouldn't get tired Rory sings along to Twice songs by a Korean Girl Group. My teammates Jagger, Jacob and Theo are big fans of that group and also the reason why Rory is into it.

"I wanna know, know, know, know What is love?" I glanced at Rory through the rearview mirror as she sang along bubbling the Korean lyrics "I wanna know, know, know, know
What is love?" she repeats, I really can't get tired of this never.

"Daddy? Do you think we can go to Korea?" She asks full of curiosity as the songs ends, I glanced once again

"Do you want sunshine?" I ask back

She nodded "I do, uncle Theo, uncle Jag and uncle Jacob it's really beautiful there and they saw Twice. I want to see them too. But you always have game"

"Sunshine..." I paused. I felt the guilt, not that I didn't spend time with my daughter. I always make time for her but ever since she was born, I've never brought her on a trip. Even if I have an out-of-town game I never bring her. I felt so guilty. "Sunshine... once this season ends, I will bring you to Korea and we will ask uncle where we will see Twice, would you like that, Rory?"

"Really daddy? Is that a promise?" her eyes spark

"Yes, sunshine I never broke a promise you know that" I say

"YAY! Thank you, daddy, you are the best, I can't wait to tell my uncles." she giggles, I will do everything to make her happy.

Minutes later we arrived at the arena and I unbuckle her from her car seat. And carry her "I can walk dad you know?" she says little sass

"I know that sunshine I'm just helping you get down the car, you little sassy" then I put her down. When we came inside Rory ran towards my teammates. Our captain Luke Collins carried her. While my other teammates surround them.
