It was extremely quiet.
Too quiet.

— You looked around your surroundings as you walked down a seemingly empty corridor. The decors of the hallway looked fancy and shiny , consisting the colors of blue and black , and a hint of red ! Lots of trinkets from the sides of the walls and half of them had hanged framed pictures and art! You don't know how long you've been walking , but it felt it had been endlessly forever.

You eventually end up finding a door after a while. You attempted to open it , turning the knob — only to find out that it's locked. You unnecessarily looked left and right to see if the coast is clear before pulling out a bobby pin from your pocket to try and turn the locks in the doorknob. Successfully unlocking it , you swung the door open only to be met a black and empty room .

You reached your hand out to the side of the door way to feel for a light switch , giving up right after you tried it only for it to not work. Before you could turn to leave the room alone , you saw a faint hue of glowing blue from the distance , hearing weeping , along with slashing noises.

Creeped out yet curious to know what it was , you took a step forward and finally went inside the room. As you begin to approach the glowing blue in front of you , you were able to  get a glimpse of a triangular shaped creature with it's back facing you. You felt sympathetic , seeing the multiple visible slash marks across it's back , bleeding as it's chained down to the ground and it's limbs stretched out by them.

" .. what are you ..? " You attempt to reach your hand out to touch and get it's attention , only to be stopped by an invisible barrier before suddenly getting sucked down into the floor , falling as you felt your heart almost stop.

- RING-A ⏰ DING ⏰ DING. -

— You instantly woke up , falling right onto your floor with a loud thud. " Aah.. Fuck. " You cursed as you hear a muffled , but clear call from your mother downstairs , calling you down for breakfast. You groaned , sitting up with the support from your elbows as you used one of your hands to rub the back of your head , feeling the pain from the back of your head from that fall. You got up to leave your room and head downstairs to eat breakfast with your parents and your sibling , who was 6 years younger than you.

A while later , you picked up your bags and went outside of your house alongside with your family. Your mother approached you as you placed your luggage into the hatch , locking it up right after you closed it shut. " Stay safe on your way to Reverse Falls , honey ... " She told you , giving you a hug as your father responded , " Yea , we'll miss you. Make sure to come visit us when it's your break. " Your mother nodded as your sibling perked up , " mhhmmm!! I'll miss the times when you'd always drive me to school and back home ... I guess I'll be commuting everyday now ... " They'd say , pouting before giving you a hug. " Bye oppaa ~! " You cringed as you hugged them back. " ...Haha... Don't call me that... " You smiled faintly before getting on your motorbike and started it, droving towards the gate before stopping in front of it to wait for it to automatically open. " Good luck in college !! " Your sibling said , your mother following after. " Make sure you make friends , and if you ever find a cute boy or girl ... " She started , teasing you only to be stopped in the middle of her sentence by your father. " ...Remember , no dating until you're done with school , alright ? "

" Got it , don't worry. Wasn't planning to get into a relationship anyway. " You replied , putting on your helmet. Smiling until eventually , the gates had finally opened fully. you drove out after you said your farewells to them , now heading your way to a small town that's far from where you live , called ' Reverse Falls '.
