After having a meal with Dante, I called my driver to pick me up. The whole drive home, I was dazed and lost in thoughts.

Dante taking a liking to me was not on my bingo card this year, and to make matters worse, he's marrying my sister.  I know Maya doesn't want this marriage but that doesn't give me the right to sneak around with her future husband.

I sigh, frustration reigning me. I can't believe I let him have his way with me, but at the same time who am I kidding? It's Dante we're talking about, he always has his way.

What annoys me the most is the fact that I can't seem to control my self everytime he's in my vicinity.

Yuri drops me home and I'm on autopilot as I make my way inside. My phone pings and I'm bought back to reality.

Dante: what shampoo do you use?

I stop at my tracks and stare at my screen with a raised eyebrow. "What kind of questions is that?" I murmur, quickly typing back.

Me: What?

Dante replies almost instantly

Dante: The flavor?

" The flavor? What does he think this is, Desert?" I snorted, shaking my head before I reply.

Me: You mean scent? Lavender.

A few moments pass, and I'm already moving towards the stairs when my phone pings again. The message makes me freeze mid-step, eyes widening.

Dante: I like it. It makes my dick hard.

My jaw drops, a sharp gasp escaping me, and almost dropping my phone. My face flushed deep red as I check if someone overhead.

"What the actual fuck?" I hiss, typing back furiously.

Me: You're crazy!!

The reply was immediate.

Dante: I think we've acknowledged that.

My fingers hover over my screen, unsure whether to laugh, yell, or throw my phone across the room. Before I could decide, another message came in.

Dante: oh, and according to your schedule, you have no classes tomorrow. I'll pick you up at 4. Be ready.

I blink at the text, my confusion turning to frustration.

Me: So you're not only crazy, but you're also a stalker now?

Dante: I just like staying informed.

I rolled my eyes so hard it hurt. I typed back, Determined to stand my ground.

Me: Well, I have plans tomorrow.

That was a lie. I have absolutely no plans, but there's no way I'm letting Dante boss me around like this.

His reply came swiftly, as if he'd expected the defiance.

Dante: Had. Now you don't.

I scowled at the screen, my blood boiling. Who does he think he is.

Me: You can't tell me what to do.

The next message came in sharp and firm, and I could almost hear his deep voice growling the words.

Dante: Don't test me, Elijah.

A shiver went down my spine. I bite my lip, trying to hold back the involuntary reaction that Dante always seems to pull out of me.
