The first storm of the summer, yep, you heard it. Hurricane Agatha had arrived on the island.

There were people working all over the place, the island looked like a shit show.

Brianna walked outside of her house just to see her mother, sat on a chair, on her phone. Of course, she didn't care about the hurricane, all she cared about is wether she could make it to the next country club meeting.

Her father was shouting on the phone to someone, probably someone from the cut, to come and clean up the mess that the storm had left on the Rodriguez Household.

And then she saw Gia, her little sister, she was trying to clean up some mess until she was stopped by Andrea, "Sweetie, put that down, you're going to get your clothes dirty!"

B scoffed, obviously, she didn't care about the hurricane that much, but if her sister was trying to clean up, what's the worst that could happen?

That's the thing when your rich, you never have to lift a finger. Anything you do, it will be fixed and gone away, like brushing something underneath a carpet.

Your feelings would never be heard or seen, you'd just be told that everything is fine, and then practically paid off to not bring it up again.

And that's exactly what Brianna hated.

Feeling like you have no one who understands a single thing your going through, nobody has time to get to know you, they just see the bad things in you, and then that's their impression of you for life.

Once a kook, always a kook.

Unfortunately, that would never change, either. Brianna would spend the rest of her life paying people to do her dirty work, not bothering to pay attention to the small things that affected others because it does nothing for her except waste her time.

B didn't mean to always be so selfish to others, it's just the way she was raised, she was never told how to act or how to behave, just to make sure to keep her families reputation up just for another dollar in their pocket to gain even more wealth than they even have.

Standing in the doorway, the girl spoke up, "I'm going to see Summer, i'll be back later."

No one had even noticed that she was there, her dad waved her off, her mom too attentive to her newly manicure but her sister came up to her and hugged her before she left causing the girl to smile.

In a way, B saw herself in Georgia, and she hated it. They only had a few years age gap, but B always felt as if she needed to protect her sister, shield her from all the bad things in life that would eventually suck her in, draining the life out of her.

And, God, she felt sick everytime she thought about the fact her sister would figure out the type of family she's living in.

The family, who couldn't give two shits on how your feeling.
