Third Person POV:

"Odysseus! Odysseus!" Arctera called, cupping her hands around her mouth, "Where is he?"

"Arctera, why are we searching for Odysseus here? Of all places, here?! Really?!" Eliakis protested, groaning.

Actera swept her gray gaze around the spiky cave, shuddering as memories floated into her mind. The Den of Cerberus reminded her of what her grandmother taught her, History always repeats itself. And here's Arctera, tracing the steps of the many people that walked this path before her.

"Odysseus? Are you there?" Arctera muttered, raking her hands through her dark brown hair.

"Sis, is there a possibility that we are searching in the wrong place? I mean, Eliakis's right, Odysseus is supposed to be on the island of Polyphemus, that's miles away!" Arcten placed a hand on his sister's shoulder softly. Doubt flashing in his eyes.

"There's no way, Athena transported us here. Plus, remember the oracle? Through the den of the hound, the answers to your mysteries shall be found." Arctera said, a bit desperately.

"Look! There's the exit!" Cleo shouted suddenly, pointing to a sliver of light excitedly, her olive skin smeared with dirt, "Come on!"

The small group trudged on, feet dragging through the loose dirt. The light grew brighter to reveal a bright beach that overlooked the glasslike ocean. Upon the shore, a group of sluggish sailors dozed beside their ship, seemingly drunk.

Arctera marched up to the captain who donned a white chiton, "Hey you! Are you Odysseus?"

The captain lifted his head, his words slurred, "LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Arctera drew back, shocked, "Odysseus? What happened?"

Odysseus swayed in his spot, "I'M NOT FIGHTING ANYMORE! LEAVE OR DIE!"

Arctera studied the warrior, speaking softly, "What about your family, don't you miss Penelope and Telemachus,"

The warrior growled, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE GONE THROUGH, LEAVE ME,"

Arctera hauled the captain to his feet, "Come on, we were sent to help you by Athena,"

Arctera looked at Odysseus, gesturing for Odysseus to follow her onto the ship. Odysseus snarled, stepping away, " NO ONE CAN HELP ME,"
