Chapter 63: Wedding (END)
Mia's POV
*One Year Later*
"What if we're moving too fast?" I asked in a panicked voice.
"You are not moving too fast, Mia. You guys are in love and deserve a lifetime of happiness. He is the one for you, the father of your child. Moving too fast would be eloping as soon as you got pregnant," Claire reassured, adjusting a strand of hair.
"Thanks," I said, taking a deep breath.
"Now let's get you married," she said with a smile.
"I can't believe this is real," I said, looking down at my wedding dress.
"I knew you would find your person one day. I'm so happy for you," she said, hugging me.
"Thanks," I said, hugging her back.
"Come on, let's get out there," she said, heading towards the door. We walked out and across the venue to the ceremony space. I smiled when I saw Blaire holding Kendyll, Lizzie running around her in circles.
"Stop, you're going to ruin your dress," Blaire snapped.
"My baby!" I exclaimed, holding out my arms. Blaire handed my daughter to me and I hugged her close, kissing her cheek. She would be three in a few months and I couldn't believe how fast she was growing.
Both girls were wearing a dress with a white, lace covered top and a dark red skirt to match the bridesmaids. The dress had sheer, lace sleeves that were 3/4 length, just like my dress. The dress went down to their ankles and they both looked adorable.
"You ready to get married?" Blaire asked.
"Terrified, but ready," I said, taking another deep breath.
"You guys are going to have a wonderful life together," she said, kissing my forehead. "I'm so proud of you little sis."
"Thanks big sis," I said with a small giggle.
"Mia!" I heard CC exclaimed. I turned and smiled when I saw him, handing Kendyll back to Blaire.
"Hi CC!" I greeted.
"Aren't you glad I forced grumpy pants to that bar?" he asked as he hugged me.
"So glad," I laughed.
"Mia, you are stunning. I'm so happy for both of you."
"Thanks," I said.
"Miabear," I heard my dad call. I turned to see him walking towards me. As he got closer, I noticed her eyes were watery.
"Dad! You can't cry yet! You're going to make me cry!" I exclaimed, fanning my eyes to dry up the tears that had started to form.
"I can't help it. My last kid is all grown up and you look beautiful."
