"DESTINY WAKE YO SELF UP AND CLEAN DIS HOUSE" said stepmom bursting in my room
"It's like 3 in the morning can't I do it tomorrow?" I said
" NO I SAID DO IT NOW, MY HOUSE MY RULE IF YOU DON’T LIKE THEM LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE" she yelled
"This ain't yo house this is my dad's house" I argued
"See this the disrespect I'm talm bout GET UP AND GO CLEAN"
I got up and started cleaning because I didn't want to keep hearing her talk.
I live with my dad and stepmom. My parents got divorced when I was 2 and my dad got full custody of me when I was 5.
I don't have a relationship with my mom after what she did when I was younger
My dad also works and travels a lot so I don't get to see him often
But as for my stepmom I don’t really know what happen with my with her she used to be nice and was there for me when my mom wasn't but around 10 years ago she started to abuse me and got a boyfriend and I never told anyone because she threatened me and said if I told any about she's doing that I wouldn't live to tell another thing .
But 3 hours later I got done deep cleaning the WHOLE house and it was about 6 time to get ready because school starts at 7:30 and I didn't want to be late but I was exhausted
I went up to my room and started the shower after that I put my laptop and books in my bag then I got a text from Seth .
Out of everyone in our friend group I'm the closest with him and Brielle because all of our parents have been friend since they were kids
So really their parents are like my parents

I clicked off my messages and hurryed up to put some makeup on my bruses then waited for him to pick me up
Ten minutes later I heard a honk outside letting know he's here
I walked outside to his car. When we said hi and hugged each other then he opened the door for me
"Thank you" I said with a soft smile
"No Problem" he said smiling back
"So where are we going" I yawned to him
"IHOP" he said
"Okay" I said then I felt my eyes get heavier and heavier
"You tired?" he said looking at me yawn again then looking back at the road
" Yeah just a little" I said
"How you go to sleep early every night?" he said chuckling
"I just didn't sleep well". I lied and didn't tell him the real reason why I'm tired
"Oh okay" he said turning the music up just a little not to much to bother me
"Des come on we're here" he said lightly shaking me to wake me up
"Oh okay" I said waking up grabbing my purse
We walked to the restaurant and got seated "a waiter will be with you shortly to take you guys order" the lady who sat us said
"Okay thank you" everyone said as I got on my phone
" You ok Des you look a little different today?" Nay said
"Yeah I'm fine just a little tired". "Oh okay" Nay said
"Hi my name is Layla I'll be your waiter what can I get for you all today?"
"Umm can I get waffles, bacon and orange juice please?" Bri said
"We'll do the same" Nay and Z said
"And can I please get crepes with bacon and apple juice?" I ask
"I'll just have pancakes, sausage and apple juice." Seth said
"Same here" said Amir
"Okay your food will be out shortly" the waiter said
After we got our food and ate we all headed to school
7th period------------------------------------------------------
It was 2:15 almost time to get out of school and I was ready To go I had 4 test today. I raised my hand to go to the bathroom and when I got out the I saw Z talking to a girl right next to the bathroom
I was just walking past but Z stopped me " You don't speak anymore?" He chuckled
"Well y'all were in a conversation and I ain't wanna interrupt" I said
"Oh well let me introduce y'all Destiny this is tori" - "his girlfriend" she cut him off saying cause Zane to laugh and me looking confused on what's happening
"No you not all these people you been dating I'm coo off that" he said
"So what you tryna say" she said "Exactly what I just said" Zane said
"Well imma leave y'all to discuss that" I said leaving to the bathroom
By the time I got back from the bathroom it was 2:25 almost time to go so everyone started packing back then the bell rung so I left to go find the group so we can all head to the mall
I met up with the group and we all went to mall to get some outfits for the party later on that day
After the mall Seth dropped me off at home so I can get ready, I decided to go because it's a Friday and ima be with me friends so why not..
