The Valley of Aki roared with the blazing heat of the unrelenting sun. A place of which water immediately evaporated into dust before hitting the cracked ground.
The valley was warm with orangish brown rustic colors which line the tall mesas that rose high into the sky.
Overlooking the mesas far past their treacherous landscape lay several bustling communities.
Each of these communities standing identical in stature and color of woodwork and steam mechanisms.
One of these was known as a sleepy place called Stead of Jigan. Which lay just shy south of the northern edge of the land where a vast unending ocean torrents the sand along its frothy beaches.
Along the beaches stood tall trees, many palm but others a mix of trees found across the world.
High up upon the specks of clouds that attempted to take shape held a peculiar sight to behold.
A flock of birds whom didn't share any amount resemblance with one another.
Inside this small gathering, five birds flew, the wind from their speed catching their wings allowing them to whisp through the air.
Was it a murder? Or even a bevy. Nay possibly even a gaggle.
No it was an intermixed grouping of fix distinct birds. Some even being out of place for the likes of this unforgiving land.
The flock flew southward towards the village, and away from the lush greenery that stuck out behind them.
Ahead of the flock stood an incredibly ferocious light brown falcon with a greyish belly. Etched deep into it's right eye held a scar around two inches long.
The unblinking falcon wore a look determination as it guided the others towards the village.
Next followed a spaced out crow, one that fluttered like it was forgetting to fly and remembering last second how to over and over again.
The crow was black with a long white beak and a goofy agaped mouth.
Its small but longer than average talons stretching as it flew or more less glided.
Behind the crow to its right was a fynx, a rather small, orangish brown bird with a small yellow beak and split pink tail feathers that dangled as it flew.
The bird sung melodically with multiple high pitched chirps and spurs.
To the left was a tan bird with an eager face that stared intently at the crow.
This bird too sung but much slower than the phnyx, the birds grey tail feathers ruffling to their song.
Finally in the back struggling their was a Pheasant which flapped it's wings hard.
The pheasants eyes were closed and the poor creature flapped sporadically as it trailed a few feet behind the others.
The birds slowed down as they were nearing the gate of the village and each bird turned it's head towards the crow who now sat in the middle of them all.
Even the pheasant caught up, it's eyes now wide open caught up as the crow inhaled and opened its mouth.
This crow was about to say something, something that would shake the core of the known world.
Something that would change our biological understanding. The crow paused for a second before again opening its mouth.
"CAAAW!", The crow croaked long and drawn out.
The other birds now began to laugh all except for the falcon who rolled his cold yellow eyes.
"Wait wait I can do it better.", the crow spoke.
They all silenced themselves gathering around the crow in the middle.
"CAAAAAAAAAW!", He let out even more drawn out his voice echoing back at him.
The others now spun in the air laughing.
The pheasant seemingly almost loosing control caught herself and began rapidly flapping behind the group.
"Hold on i-ill give it a try. Hmh, Ca-ack", she gasped chocking it out.
"Okay that was dry, dry, and even more dry.", the falcon said energetically.
"You gotta go with the flow man, find the inner crow you know.", the crow said very slowly elongating his sentences.
"He's a poet but didn't know it.", the pheasant said shakily while heaving.
"Oh yeah Kodas going to be one famous bird with that kind of brevity.", the falcon said snarkily.
"It's shadow.", the crow said either annoyed or amused as the falcon once again rolling his eyes.
"Alright Air patrol, focus up! I need all eyes forward and silence from the shadow.", the falcon barked out at the group.
The pheasant got into the back his grey eyes looking more determined now.
