The room was dimly lit by the flickering flames of black candles, casting ominous shadows across the cavernous walls of Taehyung’s lair. Jungkook sat on the edge of the massive obsidian bed, her delicate hands clutching the sheer fabric of her ceremonial gown. She shivered, her wings trembling as her doe-like eyes darted around the unfamiliar space.
The heavy door creaked open, and Taehyung entered, his tall figure commanding the room. His crimson eyes gleamed as they locked onto her. Dressed in a dark robe that hung loosely on his broad frame, he exuded danger and dominance.
“Are you scared, little fairy?” he asked, his deep voice sending chills down her spine.
Jungkook swallowed hard, forcing herself to speak. “Y-You don’t have to do this... We’re already married. Isn’t that enough?”
Taehyung’s lips curved into a smirk as he closed the distance between them. “Marriage is just a formality. The ritual binds you to me—body, soul, and magic.”
She flinched as he reached out, his clawed fingers brushing against her cheek. “Don’t touch me!” she hissed, her voice shaking.
His eyes darkened, and his hand dropped to his side. “You’re mine, Jungkook. Your village gave you to me. Do you think you can deny what’s already written in the stars?”
Tears pricked her eyes. “They didn’t give me to you. They sacrificed me. I don’t want this—I don’t want you.”
Taehyung crouched before her, his face now level with hers. His voice softened, laced with a dangerous edge. “You’ll learn to accept it. And soon enough, you’ll only look at me.”
Jungkook’s breath hitched as his gaze lingered on her trembling lips. The air between them grew heavier, suffocating her. She turned her head away, her wings curling around her like a shield.
“You can take everything,” she whispered, her voice breaking, “but you’ll never have my heart.”
Taehyung chuckled, a low, sinister sound. “Oh, little fairy,” he said, his fingers trailing down her arm. “Your heart will be the easiest to claim. The rest of you? That’s what I’ll enjoy taking slowly.”
