Opening Scene: The Mysterious Deaths
[EXT. REMOTE KASHMIR VILLAGE - NIGHT]
The village lies under a blanket of fog. A faint glow emanates from oil lamps inside the wooden houses. The camera pans to a group of villagers gathered outside a small home, murmuring in fear. Inside, a man lies dead, his face pale and contorted in terror. A distraught WOMAN (his wife) sobs beside his body.
ELDERLY VILLAGER: (whispering) Another one. That's the fourth this month.
YOUNG VILLAGER: (scared) It's the ghost. The cursed spirit of the valley.
The camera shifts to the forest surrounding the village. A shadow moves quickly between the trees, accompanied by a chilling sound. The scene cuts abruptly to black.

Scene 1: The Case is Assigned
[INT. POLICE STATION - DAY]
A.C.P. SULAIMAN QAZI is briefing INSPECTORS AARIF KHAN and IMRAN WANI in the main office. A map of Kashmir with marked locations is pinned to the wall.
A.C.P. QAZI: Four deaths in one month. Same pattern-no external injuries, no poison detected, just sheer terror on their faces. The locals believe it's a ghost.
INSPECTOR AARIF: (skeptical) Ghost? Really? They've been watching too many old folk tales.
INSPECTOR IMRAN: (thoughtful) Psychological terror can manifest physically. Maybe it's a human exploiting their beliefs.
A.C.P. QAZI: That's what we're here to find out. Aarif, we need boots on the ground. Talk to the villagers. Imran, analyze the autopsy reports again. We leave for the village tonight.

Scene 2: Arrival at the Village
[EXT. VILLAGE - NIGHT]
The team arrives in their SUV. The headlights cut through the fog as they park near the village square. A small group of frightened villagers, led by the ELDERLY VILLAGER, approaches them hesitantly.
ELDERLY VILLAGER: (nervously) ACP Sahib, thank you for coming. But be careful... the ghost doesn't spare outsiders either.
INSPECTOR AARIF: (to Imran, smirking) Ghost doesn't spare anyone, huh? We'll see about that.
A.C.P. QAZI: (firmly) We're here to investigate, not entertain stories. Show us where it happened.
They are led to the home of the most recent victim. Inside, Aarif inspects the surroundings while Imran examines the body, now covered in a white sheet.
INSPECTOR IMRAN: (peeling back the sheet) The expression is the same as the others-fear-induced cardiac arrest. But there's something odd.
A.C.P. QAZI: What is it?
INSPECTOR IMRAN: (pointing) Look at the pupils. They're dilated, and there's faint residue near the nostrils. Could be a hallucinogen.
INSPECTOR AARIF: Someone's drugging them into death? That's a new one.

Scene 3: First Attack
[EXT. VILLAGE OUTSKIRTS - MIDNIGHT]
The team splits up to patrol the area. Aarif and Qazi take the main road while Imran explores the dense forest. The fog thickens, and an eerie silence falls.
Suddenly, Aarif hears a faint rustling noise.
INSPECTOR AARIF: (to Qazi) Did you hear that?
A.C.P. QAZI: Stay sharp.
Out of nowhere, a figure in a dark cloak sprints past them, disappearing into the woods. Aarif gives chase, pulling out his sidearm.
INSPECTOR AARIF: Stop! Police!
Aarif leaps over a fallen log, following the figure through the fog. He fires a warning shot, but the figure vanishes. Moments later, an explosion rocks the forest-a crude trap left behind. Aarif is thrown backward but escapes unhurt.
INSPECTOR AARIF: (gritting his teeth) Damn it. They're playing games.

Scene 4: Uncovering the Truth
[INT. VILLAGE SCHOOL - DAY]
The team sets up a temporary base in the village school. Imran is analyzing samples taken from the victim's home, while Aarif interviews villagers.
INSPECTOR IMRAN: (to Qazi) It's confirmed. The residue contains scopolamine-a powerful hallucinogen. Whoever's behind this is using it to induce fear and paralysis before causing a heart attack.
A.C.P. QAZI: (thinking) And they're targeting specific individuals. Why?
Aarif enters, tossing a notepad on the table.
INSPECTOR AARIF: I found a connection. All the victims had disputes over their land. Someone's using fear to drive people out.
A.C.P. QAZI: (nodding) It's not a ghost. It's a land grab.

Scene 5: The Ambush
[EXT. FOREST PATH - NIGHT]
The team sets a trap. Imran poses as a villager walking along the forest path while Qazi and Aarif lie in wait. Hours pass in tense silence.
Suddenly, a shadow moves in the fog. A masked figure emerges, carrying a blowgun loaded with darts. As they raise the weapon, Aarif leaps out.
INSPECTOR AARIF: Drop it!
The figure sprints away, triggering another trap. This time, a series of small explosives detonate around them. Aarif narrowly avoids a blast while Imran tackles the suspect to the ground. The mask is removed, revealing a local land developer.
A.C.P. QAZI: (grimly) I knew it. Greed disguised as superstition.

Climax: Car Chase and Finale
[EXT. MOUNTAIN ROAD - NIGHT]
The developer's accomplices try to rescue him. A black SUV rams into the team's vehicle, forcing them off the road. A high-speed chase ensues along the winding mountain roads.
Aarif fires out of the passenger window as RPGs explode around them, shattering the cliffs. One of the enemy SUVs flips over a barrier, tumbling into the ravine below.
INSPECTOR AARIF: (grinning) One down!
Imran uses a grappling hook launcher to disable the tires of another vehicle. The final car attempts to block their path but is rammed by Qazi, sending it spinning out of control before exploding.

Ending Scene: Justice Served
[INT. POLICE STATION - NIGHT]
The captured developer sits in an interrogation room, hands cuffed. Qazi enters, slamming a file on the table.
A.C.P. QAZI: You used fear to steal their land. Now, you'll face justice.
The developer looks down, defeated. Outside, Aarif and Imran watch as the villagers celebrate their restored peace.
INSPECTOR AARIF: (to Imran) No ghosts after all. Just greed.
INSPECTOR IMRAN: (smirking) Still gave you a scare, didn't it?
The two laugh as the camera pans to the forest, now silent and still under the moonlight.
