MaNan:NEVER LET YOU GO{Completed}

Part - 1

Early morning, and as her daily routine, Nandini is in her
cabin, ready for another busy day to start. Its 8am & she is
amongst the first ones to get to the hospital. She was going
through some reports when her phone rang at around 8:30
am. She picks up the call and says,
Nandini: hello sir, good mrng.....
Albert: dr. nandini, how many times I have told you I am
your friend, before your senior, so just call me albert, not sir
Nandini:sorry sir, I mean albert
Albert: yaa that's nice, now I have called 4 sumthing really
important...... See, there is an emergency case out there in
India, and the victim's family wanted the best doctors for
that cause as soon as possible. Since we can reach there
fast, they wanted me to go. But due to some family issue, I
am not able to make it, so I have told them that u being my
junior will be heading towards India. So I want u 2 go there
& finish this operation very well.
Nandini: but doc how can I.... I mean, to India....
Albert: See, I know you don't like going to India much, but its
an emergency,& I can't trust anyone else for this
Nandini: ohk doc as u say...... so, when do I hv to leave..
Albert: in 2 hrs ..... Be fast, all the best
Nandini: thank u doctor
Nandini got up & rushed home to prepare to leave. In 2 hrs,
she boarded a flight to India. But only one thing was going
on in her mind. What will happen, if she coincides with any
person, from her past. The past, which she cherishes from
the past 7 years. She has not been to India from 7 years &
now she just hopes to stay away from that life, which she
had earlier.
FLASHBACK:
After the Pandit incident, nandini was totally broken apart,
her inner soul was scared frm whatever happened. Manik
was trying his best to get her back to normal. She could see
his pain, in his efforts, but she was not able to do anything
in return. And finally she decided to leave him alone & go
away. As she told him about leaving, he straightly refused,
but this time she had made the decision to leave & hence,
she used his blank promise and asked him not to follow her.
Manik had no other option than to let her go & wait for her
till she returns back, normal as she promised. She promised
him that she will get back to him the day, she feels that she
can again play her music. As Nandini, got back to
Mangalore, to her amms, her problems kept on increasing.
Amms tried her best to make nandini play music & sing, but
she failed. And after 6 months Nandini decided to quit. All
these months Manik was continuously calling her and
msging her. Neither did she ever answer his calls & nor did
she reply to his msgs.
Soon chacha, chachi & rishab too left Mumbai. Nandini flew
to Australia with her entire family, where she started her
college once again, but this time not for music but for
science. After studying for 5 years nandini graduated as a
Cardiologist. And now from the past 2 years is working in
this hospital, which is known as the best one in Australia.
After 2 years of her college , her entire family went to
London for her chacha's job & rishab's treatment. So, from
the past 5 years, she is staying alone in a small rented
apartment. Her only friend is her senior doctor , i.e., Dr.
Albert. He is the one who knows everything about her past.
FLASHBACK ENDS....
After a flight of 8 long hrs, Nandini landed in Mumbai.
Australia being 4.5 hrs ahead India, on time chart, it was
just 2:30 pm in India. As it was an emergency case, she
went to the hospital directly from the airport, instead of the
hotel. The hospital staff was waiting for her at the airport.
They took her to the hospital & she met Dr. Agarwal, the
chief doctor of the city hospital. Mumbai.
Dr. Agarwal: Hello Dr. Moorthy, thank you very much that
you are here on such a sort notice.
Nandini: Its alright sir, but may I ask a question??? Why was
their so much crowd outside the hospital gate???
Dr. Agarwal(D.A): Yes Dr. actually the person whom you are
going to operate, is a V.VIP. He is the lead singer of a very
famous band & the ppl standing out were his fans & media.
Nandini : Ohk sir, so can I plz get the details of the patient's
condition now...
D.A: Dr. I thought u will rest 4 about half an hour and then
start.
Nandini: No Dr. its someone's life on risk, we can't rest
D.A: (smiling) ohk, so here are the details, you go through
them & I will prepare for the operation.
Nandini: very well sir....
Nandini went through the medical history and the case
proceedings of the patient and headed towards the
operation theater. As she entered, Dr. Agarwal came
towards her.
D.A: Dr. Moorthy, there are a few ppl willing to meet u
before u operate him.
Nandini: ohh really.... Are they his family members.
D.A: No actually there r 6 of his friends, out of which few r
his band members, they r his only family...
Nandini: Ohk... but plzz ask them for my apology but I can't
meet them before completing this operation. Sorry.... I think
he needs me, more than they do.
D.A: Ohk Dr.
And with this Dr. Agarwal left the room. As he came out, 6
ppl came running to him, all of them with eyes full of tears.
One of them asked "Dr. is he alright???? And has that
Australian Dr. arrived??"
D.A: Yes Cabir, she is here but I m afraid u can't meet her.
Aliya: why doctor??
D.A: Aliya, she is a much focused Dr. She has landed just
now & is not even willing to rest for a while..... All she wants
is to save MANIK. I m a family dr. to all of u, I knw what u
all r going through, & I feel she can treat manik very well.
Dhruv: We thank God to have her here for Manik...
D.A.: yes dhruv, u knw she is almost of ur age only.... But
the maturity she has is commendable... ohk now I must get
in, the operation is about to start, you all take care.
And saying this he disappeared behind a door, with the sigh
board 'Operation Theater'..
Yes the patient in there, was none other than Manik
Malhotra.... The lead singer of the famous band FAB-5. And
the ppl standing out there were; Cabir, Aliya, Dhruv, Mukti,
Abhi & Navya.
FLASHBACK:
After college, fab 5 became one of the most famous bands
in India. Cabir got married to Navya & has taken full
responsibility of her daughter, named kavya. He now loves
both of them a lot. Aliya & Dhruv too got married 5 years
ago & have a 3yr old son, sameer. 2yrs back abhi too
returned from America, after fully recovering from cancer,
and is now married to mukti.
They all had asked manik many a times to move on & marry
some1, but Manik kept on refusing by one or the other
reason. But the fact, all of them knew, was that he was still
waiting for Nandini to return back to him. He still had hope
that someday, he'll get her.
FLASHBACK ENDS:
Nandini gets ready for the operation & goes closer to the
patient, accompanied by dr. agarwal. She hands over the
files to the nurse and was wearing her gloves as she sees
the patients face. And within that single second, her world
stops in front of her. Her heart skips a beat as she realizes
that the man whom she loved with all her heart was lying in
front of her, almost at the edge of dying. And his only
chance of surviving was she herself. All those days, those
lovely fights, those beautiful moments spent with him came
back to her mind. And then the days when he used to call
her, msg her in mangalore & she wasn't responding to any
of it. She just went numb then and there.....
