An Uncharted Path (#4)

"Hey Volatile" I looked over to my sister, who was sleeping in the sink. "Yas?" "I feel around the others...we should keep us...being siblings...a secret." Volatile poked her head out and her frill moved in irritation. "Why" "I don't trust the others. I feel they will ruin or hurt us with this information. I mean they hate me with all their heart. And you almost hurt them by burning a whole restaurant down" She opened her mouth to argue but nodded in agreement. "Yeah. They probably won't appreciate me after that. Especially Zooble." "I think we pissed everyone off in the circus." I look around. "WERE THE $%@# IS CAINE! I'VE BEEN WAITING HOURS!" I looked around for Caine, but the pair of dentures did not appear. "I have a feeling we need to go do things on our own, Jax" Volatile hopped out of the sink. I nodded in agreement, and stood up. Volatile opened the bathroom door and we both gasped. Every bit of Sputsy's had been burned to the steak. All I could see was a small grass field, then the void not so far out. "They left us behind," Volatile whispered. "Oh look, it's Orbsman!" My sister starts laughing for no damn reason. I think she's more insane than me! Oh wait...there's Orbsman! And he's dead? I turn my head to my dying sister. She was currently rolling on the ground. "You're weird. And a psychopath, arsonist, and probably a kidnapper but aren't we all?" I snickered. That only made her laugh harder. "I'm gonna yell for the Tooth Fairy, ok?" I walked around the remaining pieces of the map, and yelled for Caine. "Caine! Caine! CAINE!" Suddenly I feel like giving in. He was not coming. We were forgotten. Rejects in the fire. "Caine is not coming rabbit" I turned around, startled. A tall woman stood in front of me. The woman was taller than me. Her skin was cloud gray, and her eyes were blood red. The most unusual part was her hair. Her black hair was not hair, it was..feathers? She chuckled at my fear. Giant black wings opened from behind her. "Did I startle you?" She chuckled. I open my mouth to respond but my dum%^# sister comes over and starts talking instead. "Oh my god. I love your fit!!" Volatile squealed. "Oh by the way. This is my brother Jax, and I'm..." "Volatile. I know." The smile from my sister's face drains. "STALKER!" Volatile gasps and starts hissing at her."You definitely have become one with your new body, sis" The woman let out a little laugh but her gaze was serious. "Yes, I watch you guys a lot. I say you are like the others. But Able insists you two are different then them. Able says the others don't have what it takes to be...a form of darkness as you call it." "Who are you?" I ask. There was something weird about her. "Are you a human?" The women let out a chuckle. "I'm human all right. The name is Fala."

Pomni's Perspective 

   5 hours earlier....

 The fire was blazing like hell. I tried helping as I could, but Ragatha seemed to be getting everyone out. I turned around to see if there was anything I could do, then I heard a crash. Gangle! Jax had punched her in the face and was stepping on her mask. A storm of anger rushed through me. I ran at football player speed and tackled him into the ground. I stood up fast and kicked the rabbit in the head. "HOW COULD YOU! YOU AWFUL HUMAN!! YOU MONSTER!!!" I scream. Hitting him over and over. Jax never even fought once. He looked at me like he wanted this. That just made me kick him harder and harder. Someone suddenly pulled me away from Jax. Ragatha. "Pomni! What are you doing!" She yelled. Not to be mean but over the screams and fire you can't really hear much. "HE WAS HURTING GANGLE! GANGLE DESERVES HAPPINESS FOR ONCE IN HER LIFE!" I wailed. Ragatha nodded at me. "We can't become as bad as Jax. No matter what he does. He will be the downfall of himself, we are no better than him if we cause his downfall" Ragatha pleaded. I wanted to argue, but she was dead right. "We better get out of here!" I yell in fear. Me and Ragatha hurried out of the restaurant, side by side. But before we fully exited, Caine appeared and pulled us through a portal. "Well that's everyone! That fire really got out of hand!" Caine chuckled. "Uh Caine?" Kinger walked out from his fort. "Where are Jax and Volatile?" Everyone looked around, but the rabbit and lizard were not here. "Thank god" Zooble spat. They walked away into the large belly of the beast. "Can you find them, Caine?" Ragatha asked."There seems to be a problem about that....they are not showing up on my Wacky Watch"
