When was the Last time

PROLOGUE

Gab's POV

"heads-up, sir meeting in 5 minutes po" his secretary jane informed him. He just nodded his head as a response to his  secretary before she went out of his office.  Gabby was a CEO in a famous company named GAC Corporation named after him. It has been his job since he quit showbiz 5 years ago due to personal reasons.

He spent his youth life in the showiz industry before, and through that, he met someone that changed his life from emptiness to happiness. She became his constant, best friend, his partner, and, of course, his wife. Wife? funny how he thought that, but seriously, he misses her; he misses them her mag-ina.

"Kumusta na kaya sila" he thought and looked at the picture beside his table that was place on top of his mini cabinet. It was a picture of their wedding and beside of it is a picture of the three of them, where his wife was carrying their daughter while he was looking at them. He touched it and remembered how happy they were when they were together. He missed her laugh, her chikas in life, her rants when someone irritates her. He miss their daughter, their sweetness and family bonding every weekends. He missed everything they did before. he sighed and put back the picture on where it was placed.

he still has their picture of course including all the stuff that they used to collect. He didn't threw it away after they broke up and after his mag-ina flew to London 5 years ago. He still values everything as much as how he valued their marriage. They may be physically separated but they are still married because he didn't sign the annulment paper that his wife handed to him.

His thoughts were interrupted when his secretary knocked the door again. "sir andyan na po sina Sir Ogie" lumabas na rin siya after his secretary reminded him.

He went to conference room and saw familiar faces, his showbiz buddy, Ogie, Regine, and Martin.

"uuyy pare iba na talaga umaasenso na" said Ogie before he hugged him. "mas ikaw nga ang umasenso tamo ang ganda ng sapatos mo" puri niya bago hinawakan ang sapatos ni Ogie. he made beso to Regine and fist-bump to Martin. Aside from Sharon, these people also became his gang and constant. They didn't leave his side after what happened to the both of them. He didn't heard them says bad against him instead they were so understanding in their situation'coz aside from his family these people in front of him knows everything and what really happened during that day. Their friendship remain strong and intact.

"Ganda na ng kompanya mo ha, last na punta namin dito parang nagluluksa pa ngayon in fairness mabango parang amoy—" Martin didn't finished what he was supposed to say when Ogie and Regine said "Comeback" in unison. Nagtinginan ang mag-asawa sabay apir na tila ba nag-usap ang kanilang mga mata kung ano ang sasabihin. Martin also gave high-five to the both of them. Gabby just shaked his head because of the silliness of his friends.

"Anong comeback sinasabi niyo, walang ganon masaya na siya masaya na rin ako naka move-on na kaming pareho sana kayo din" He said then laughed on what he said "naka move-on na nga ba" singit naman ni Ogie na may halong pang-aasar.

"Sus, ako pa ba di ko ata ugali ang maghabol ako pa nga yung hinahabol" biro niya

"Kapal mo rin no, kaya ka iniiwan e" sabi ni Regine then stuck out her tongue. He put his hand on his chest and acted like he was hurt.

"Ang sexy na pa naman ngayon ni ate, baka pag nakita mo ulit bumalik ka, marupok ka pa naman Gabriel" he just smirk on Regine's statement.

"kahit naman noon pang andito siya sexy na siya sa paningin ko" it was supposed to be on his mind only, but he didn't realized he said it loud.

"Bingo! naka move-on na daw pero iniisip parin, tigilan mo kami Gabriel kung ako sa'yo tanggapin mo na lang yung offer ni Direk" ito talaga yung main agenda kung bakit andito sila hindi para makipag meeting kundi para ipaalam at kumbinsihin siya sa offer ni Direk Cathy na bagong project niya syempre kasama din ang gang dito. Matagal na rin siyang kinukulit nito na tanggapin ang offer at bumalik na siya sa showbiz pero lagi niyang tinatanggihan.

"tapos na ako sa era na yan, tsaka masaya na ako sa trabaho ko dito, eto na yung buhay ko" mahabang paliwanag niya.

"Ang arte mo pre ha ganyan ba talaga kapag iniiwan" biro ni Ogie

"Kayo kanina niyo pa ako inaasar oo na ako na iniwan pero di ko parin tatanggapin yan" He said while laughing.

"sige na para ka namang others, kung andito lang si—" Martin got interrupted again.

"Oo na sige na 'wag mo na ipaalala patahimikin niyo naman yung tao" after he said that the gang hugged him and nag apir tila ba successful sila sa pangungumbinse sa kanya.

"just let me know when and what to do" he said and left with no choice but to accept the offer, after all maybe it's the time na bumalik sa nakasanayan niya. In fact, miss niya na rin ang buhay sa industriya na maraming iniwang ala-ala sa kanya. Maybe it's the time to move forward and start to create again a beautiful memories together with the precious people in front of him.

"basta wala na bawian ah, deal?" Martin said and asked for a hand shake.

"Deal, basta ayusin niyo lang ha and make sure hindi ako ang bida pwede na yung extra lang ako, alam mo na medyo matagal din nawala baby step muna" he joked to his friend. For him wala namang kaso kung anong role niya as long as kaya niyang e deliver ng maayos ang character.

"Parang si ano baby mo, oh biro lang basta tunay na to this time ha wala nang atrasan at mas lalong walang bawian" Ogie said. Medyo napahaba narin ang kanilang kwentuhan and hindi nila na realize na gabi na pala. Hindi rin nila masisisi ang isa't isa medyo matagal rin sila bago nagkita at nagkausap ulit ng ganito due to their hectic and busy schedules.

They decided to bid their goodbyes with each other after their productive talk. "Matutuwa si Direk sa balita natin mission success, yung isa naman ang need natin suyuin" were Ogie's last words before they left Gabby  dumbfounded at the conference of his company.

That thought bothers him when he was driving home. "Yung isa naman" keeps echoing in his mind. Who may it be that "isa naman"? There's only one person on his mind, but he can't still figure it out. Maybe it's she. Silly how he always thinks about her, though she even didn't bother to think about him. Kinalimutan kana nga diba iniwan ka rin mag-isa. He shrugged his thought, but for him, she always occupies his mind, but most especially his heart.
