Chapter 49: The Only Grim Reaper in Interstellar

A/N: I only noticed that I wrote Ji Wei instead of Ji Wen. It was originally Ji Wen in some previous chapters but I somehow mistakenly wrote Ji Wei in the later chapters. Anyway, I changed it so it's Ji Wei now Haha (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

Chapter 49: The Only Grim Reaper in Interstellar

As when everyone saw the runes flash, the Marshal and his team became alerted. It's just that they didn't expect that in the next second, the light wouldn't attack them but instead envelop the young man instead.

Ji Wei's eyes widened. "Qin An!"

They subconsciously want to get closer to the young man but it seems too late. The light completely covered him and they couldn't even see any glimpse of the young man anymore.

"Marshal!" The team could only back down and quickly went closer to the Marshal.

"What is going on?!" Hong Xinan exclaimed in bewilderment. Others were also stunned by the sight.

"Marshal, do we have to do something?" Qi Jian asked. He Li didn't answer and continued to stare at the light.

He didn't know if his decision to give the sphere was correct. Although he already somewhat believes that maybe this young man doesn't have ill intentions, what about the sphere?

Does this sphere mean something that could benefit everyone or does it mean danger?

He Li also tried to use his mental power to explore but it appears to be blocked by the unknown. His expression turned solemn and the atmosphere around became frozen and silent. They could do nothing and could only wait for what would happen next.

Time feels like a thousand times slower and the light gets bigger and it dazzlingly surrounds the young man that made them subconsciously squint their eyes.

This lasted for many seconds until the light slowly got dimmer. Seeing this, the team stood straight and stared vigilantly at what's behind and waited for the light to go away.

It didn't disappoint and they finally saw the young man again. However instead of seeing him awake, everyone saw him lying on the bed with its eyes closed tightly. Qin An's face was deadly pale and he was sweating badly.

What was even more shocking is that the golden runes that were once carved on the sphere were now on his body, circling around like a snake entangling him. It moves around his neck, arms, knees and shoulders. While the golden sphere on his hand lost its luster and became very like an ordinary stone.

"!!!" Everyone was stunned by the shocking sight and they quickly went closer to the young man. Seeing Qin An frowning as if in great pain, He Li's face turned black and sharply commanded.

"Send him to the private hospital!"

They came back to their senses and nodded. "Yes, Marshal!"

As a result, the training camp was once hammered by this news and could only watch Qin An getting inside the Marshal's hover car and watch it leave.

The hover car drives fast and it immediately disappears, going towards the private hospital of the military that their family is in.

"What's the matter?" Cheng Yu, the Head Doctor, quickly went closer when he was notified that the Marshal was coming this way.

"Doctor, he needs help!" Ji Wei hastily said and the medical staff also saw Qin An on Hong Xinan's arms.

"What happened?!" Cheng Yu exclaimed when Qin An was placed on the hospital bed and saw his situation.

"We don't know. He just became like this." Ji Wei couldn't fully explain the bizarre moment earlier. Cheng Yu frowns and just starts checking Qin An.

"He has no wounds. Check his internals and monitor his mental power immediately!" Cheng Yu commanded and the nurses quickly put the equipment around Qin An.
