this is my first fic for prison break! at the time of writing, i'm 3/4 of the way through season 4. i'll preface by saying that i've never been to prison, i've never been a fugitive, a cop, a psychologist or a structural engineer, but i do my best to research what i can and be as accurate to the experience as possible (save for typing out actual slurs). and prison break is already a pretty messy show (t-bag alone warrants a TW).

CONTENT WARNING for gore, SA (no direct scenes but referenced), mental illness, racism, sexism, murder, kidnapping, explicit content, nudity, and torture. basically anything you've seen in prison break will be here.

this is a slow-burn michael scofield x oc story. and i do mean slow. i don't want to discredit his character nor simplify josephine to his love interest. moreover, i won't be completely sidelining sara ── i love her character and she deserves literary respect while still providing reasons for her to engage in the plot.

my stories are always very character-driven, and i like to devote focus to my OC and their backstory, and change up the plot based on their existence in it, always in fresh and funky ways to keep you readers guessing. if you aren't interested in that, stop reading here, because i start early and i never stop.
