The room was alive with the buzzing of urgent conversations as the Avengers huddled around a large digital map in the center of the briefing room. Peter stood at the edge, trying to focus on the leads they had gathered, but his mind kept drifting to one singular thought: his family was still out there, in danger. He could barely breathe at the idea of not knowing where the twins were, or what the people who took them had planned next.
Suddenly, Tony’s voice broke through the chaos.
“We have a lead,” Tony said, his tone sharp. “And it’s not good.”
Peter's head snapped up. “What do you mean?”
Steve looked grim as he stepped toward the map. “We’ve been tracking some unusual movements, and we’ve narrowed it down to one person: the Vulture.”
The name hit Peter like a punch to the gut. Adrian Toomes—the man who had once tried to ruin his life with his illegal dealings, the one who had almost killed him. The man who had been sent to prison thanks to Peter’s actions.
“How—how is he out?” Peter’s voice trembled with disbelief. “I thought we locked him up for good.”
“We did,” Tony answered, his voice low. “But somehow, he managed to escape. We don’t know how yet, but that’s not the worst part.”
Peter’s heart skipped a beat. “What’s the worst part?”
“The Vulture found out about your family,” Steve said, his eyes meeting Peter’s. “He’s targeting you, Pete. He’s taken the twins as leverage—he wants revenge. And if you don’t give him what he wants, he’s going after MJ next.”
The words felt like a cold slap to the face. Peter’s chest tightened as the weight of it all hit him. The Vulture wasn’t just after him—he was after the people Peter loved most, the people who meant everything to him.
“I knew it,” Peter muttered, clenching his fists. “He couldn’t just go away, could he? He couldn’t just let it go. He has to hurt me where it hurts the most.”
Tony’s expression hardened. “He’s playing a dangerous game. And now we have to stop him before he does anything worse.”
“Where are the twins?” Peter demanded, his voice rising with urgency.
“We don’t know,” Natasha said, shaking her head. “The Vulture’s been smart—he’s laying low. But we’re getting close to tracking his location. We have to move fast.”
Peter’s mind was racing, his thoughts frantic. His sons were out there somewhere—held hostage by a man who wanted nothing more than to break him, to make him suffer. And MJ—his heart clenched at the thought of her. The Vulture was dangerous enough when it was just him, but now he had his family in the crosshairs. Peter would never forgive himself if something happened to them.
“I’m going to find them,” Peter said, his voice low and fierce. “I’m going after them. I won’t let him hurt them.”
“You’re not doing this alone,” Tony said firmly, placing a hand on Peter’s shoulder. “We’re a team, Pete. We’re going to bring those kids back.”
Peter looked up at his father, grateful for the support, but his determination didn’t falter. “I don’t care how many of you come with me. I’m going to get them, and I’m going to make sure the Vulture never hurts anyone again.”
The Avengers and the Dynamic Six all exchanged glances, the seriousness of the situation weighing on them all. Peter knew that he had the strength of his family behind him, but the feeling of dread—of knowing that his children were in danger—was almost too much to bear.
“We’ll start the search immediately,” Steve said, his voice calm but filled with resolve. “But we need to be smart about this. The Vulture’s not going to make it easy.”
Peter nodded. “I don’t care what it takes. We’re getting them back.”

The night air was cold and sharp as Peter and the team gathered in their gear, preparing for the search. The streets of New York seemed eerily quiet as they ventured out, each of them in their own thoughts. Peter’s mind was consumed with images of his sons—Joey and Max—small and defenseless in the hands of a madman. He couldn’t let his fear control him. He had to be strong for them. He had to be strong for MJ.
“I’ve got a possible location,” Natasha said, her voice coming through their comms. “Looks like we’ve tracked the Vulture to an old warehouse on the outskirts of the city. We need to move fast.”
Without another word, the group split into teams, each of them racing toward the warehouse. Peter felt the adrenaline pumping through his veins. Every part of him was screaming to move faster, but he knew they had to be careful. The Vulture was dangerous, and he wasn’t going to make this easy.
As they arrived at the warehouse, Peter’s heart began to pound in his chest. He could feel the tension in the air. They were close. He could sense it.
"Stay alert," Steve said, his voice low. "We don’t know what we’re walking into."
Peter’s fists clenched at his sides. “If he’s hurt them—if he’s done anything to my sons…” His words trailed off, a dangerous anger rising within him.
"Stay calm," Tony said, his voice steady but full of urgency. "We’ll find them."
They approached the warehouse cautiously, scanning every corner. The windows were dark, and the door was ajar. Peter’s senses were on high alert, and every instinct told him something was wrong. He could feel it in his bones.
Inside, the sound of something shifting in the shadows caught their attention. Peter’s breath hitched as he saw a figure standing in the far corner of the room.
“You really think you can stop me, Parker?” The voice was harsh, filled with venom.
Peter’s stomach dropped as the Vulture stepped into the dim light, his wings extending behind him like a twisted, mechanical monstrosity. His eyes glinted with malice, and in his grip, he held something that made Peter’s heart race.
It was a small, familiar bundle. A blanket.
Peter’s chest tightened as he took a step forward. “What have you done with my sons?”
The Vulture’s lips curled into a cruel smile. “They’re fine, for now. But they’re not the real prize. I want you, Parker. You took everything from me. And now, I’m taking it all from you.”
Peter’s fists clenched, his voice low and filled with fury. “You won’t get away with this. I will stop you.”
“I’m counting on it,” the Vulture sneered, stepping back into the shadows. "Come at me, Spider-Man. But know this—if you do, you may never see your family again."
Peter lunged forward, ready to fight, ready to do whatever it took to save his sons and protect his family. The Vulture may have been out for revenge, but Peter wasn’t about to let him win. Not now. Not ever.
