Chapter 1 - Camila POV

I woke up, I was so tried from last night my parents made me a "little" going away party. I got off my bed and proceeded to grab my suit case. I tear fell from my eye, I couldn't believe it, I was actually leaving and going to achieve my dreams. Ever since a kid I wanted to sing, I finally found a good collage in LA that will help me get my degree in music. I wiped my tears and grabbed a picture of my family, I hugged it, it squeezed my chest so I put it down. I heard a voice, " Camila?". I turned; it was my mother, she had a big smile in her face, "Camila I'm so happy, happy that you're producing your dreams, I'm going to miss you." I got up and gave her a big hug, I was hugging her to long that I lost track of time and didn't realize I had a lot of tears in my eyes. "Look at the time Camila you're going to miss your flight if you don't hurry you haven't even finished packing yet. I quickly picked all the clothes I wanted to take and even a few tight dresses for the parties I might be going too. I brushed my hair, I didn't know what to expect in LA. What if I met the one? What will I expect? At least I won't be on this journey alone, Dinah will come with me. We met a long time ago, but she didn't live in Miami like me, she told me she'll meet me at LAX. I couldn't wait. I grabbed my bow and put it on. I went and put my suit cases in my dads car. I hugged my sister, I hugged her tight, I was going to miss her so much. " I'm going to miss you Sophia." Tears fell from her eyes, "Aww Sofi stop you're going to make me cry too." I let her go and she went to my mom, I hugged my parents, suddenly I started to cry, "I'm going to miss you both so much, Los amo mucho!" My dad gave me a kiss in the cheek and we hopped in the car. "Camila mi hermosa, I'm going to miss you so much, last time I remember you where a baby, now you're going to collage in LA to pursue your dreams."
I smiled, "Te amo." I said. In an hour I'll be in my way to LA, it finally hit me, I was going to leave my family, and friends here, but I'll get to meet new people and be with Dinah. My phone rang, Dinah had texted me, "I'm so excited I'll get to see you again and we'll both do what we both love." I replied quickly because I was to excited and paranoid that I might miss my flight and no be able to make it to orientation. We arrived to the airport, I grabbed my stuff. I hugged my dad one last time and walked in to check in my luggage. But someone had caught my eye, it was other girl also checking in her luggage, she had the most beautiful green eyes, she wore a The 1975 t-shirt with shorts, her hair was so beautiful, "Que hermosa." I whispered, she turned and saw me. Her beautiful eyes met mine, it's like no one was there but her, I never felt like this before. She gave me a smirk and walked away and sat down. I finished checking in, sat, and grabbed my phone. I checked the time, only half an hour left. I wonder where the mysterious girl was going. I texted Dinah "Dinah, only half an left!!!!😁😁😁" I waited for her to reply, but she took a while too, so I need something to entertain myself, I didn't want to use my phone much so the battery won't die. There was a outlet next to me to I put my phone to charge. Suddenly I herd the mysterious girl talk, "madre, my beautiful mother, y tu mi parade los voy a extrañar mucho." She then hugged her parents, I think I herd her parents call her Lauren, but I didn't know if I herd right so I shrugged. Her parents walked away and she wiped her tears from her eyes. Even crying she looked beautiful. Was I developing feelings for her? Maybe even sexual feelings. Something about her attracted me and I couldn't look away. I was to distracted by her that I didn't realize Dinah sent me a text. "Yes Mila, I'm so happy 💯 girl I can't wait." I didn't reply as I was to busy staring at "Lauren". Her eyes looked beautiful in the sun, she then turned and I Quickly looked done. "I hope she didn't see me how embarrassing." It was now time to leave to LA, I went quickly to get in the plane and I noticed she was going to, we where both going to LA, but what if we aren't going to the same collage? She sat across from me, I wanted to talk to her but I was to embarrassed. I rushed to much that I didn't realize I left my phone. I wanted to cry, "Lauren" then came towards me. She came and her soft voice, her voice was so beautiful to me, "Hola, I'm Lauren, here you left your phone, I'm glad I found you and could give it back to you." "Thaaaa--nk, thanks Lauren, gracias, I'm Camila by the way." She smirked and went back to sit down, I blushed, I couldn't even talk, she took my breath away. I read a book during the flight, at times looking up to look at Lauren, she would at time be looking at me first. She listened to music most of the flight, probably the 1975, or another band. I got bored from reading, and watched fetus one direction videos. I laughed harder than I thought I did and Lauren turned, she gave me a smile. Her smile, her smile, it made me happy, like the happiness you get from someone you love, you truly love, no one else made me feel like this. Her green eyes met mine. I stared at her until we both looked away. We finally arrived at LAX, I got off the plane and Lauren was behind me, I herd a familiar voice call me, "CAMILA, MILA OVER HERE GIRL." It was Dinah I ran to her and hugged her. There where to other girls with her, "oh Mila these are my friends Normani and Ally, they also came to pick of their friend, and guess what we are all going to the same collage for the same dream." I introduce myself, Normani was such a beautiful young girl, she had amazing her and a beautiful smile, Ally was shorty but she was so adorable, she was full of joy and that made me happy. I was kinda hoping Lauren was their friend. Lauren actually was their friend, Norman introduce Lauren to me and Dinah but Lauren interrupted, " oh me and Camz already met." I smiled, "yeah we did." Me and Lauren went to get our luggage while the rest stayed, "Camila, Umm Mila, it's ok if I call you Camz right?" I smiled and replied, "yeah it is Lauren, I like it a lot tbh." She smiled back at me and we reached for our luggage but our hands touched, my heart raced fast, I felt blood pumping fast, I've never felt like this. We both quickly pulled away and said "ha sorry." And grabbed our stuff and went to meet our friends. "We'll see you both at orientation ok." Normani told me Dinah. We both got into Dinah's car and drove away, Lauren and her friends stayed behind. I knew we where going to the same collage but what if we get different classes and I don't have time to see her again I though to myself. Dinah looked at me and said, "Are you ok? What happened you looked confused but happy at the same time." I bit my lip and said "Ha umm nothing at all." And smirked.

I was so excited to be in LA. I couldn't believe it, I finally saw the Hollywood sign. I can finally go and make my dream come true and to think I didn't make it into choir as a kid, if only they can see me now. Dinah showed me around before orientation and I called my parents to let them know I arrived safely.
