Several weeks had passed, and the closer it got to the date, the less and less sleep everyone got. Lucifer knew this was going to be a very tiring day.

"It comes tomorrow." Lucifer said, walking in front of the council, "Adam plan on eliminating EVERY single person down there. Hellborn to Sin... I for one will not allow him to destroy the land I created. I am not asking you to join the battle, but I am asking you all to be prepared should Hell fall... because who's to say Adam won't go for Heaven next."

This got them muttering and glancing at each other in shock. Adam was a lot of things but he wasn't crazy enough to try and attack Heaven, was he?

"But why?" Sera asked.

"My guess? To make himself the "top dog" and rule over Heaven like some pychotic tyrant." Lucifer said, shaking his head. "He's clearly not stable."

"Hmm, I suppose taking his job away affected him more than I thought." Sera said with a sigh. "A job I should've never made for him in the first place."

"Yeah, you messed up Sera but we've moved on from that." Jophiel said.

"Now, everyone needs to get prepared for a possible war." Lucifer said, sending the council away aside from Sera and the Archangels, "I'm going down there to help evacuate demons. The Hellborn will be sent to other rings, and the sinners will be in the bunkers."

"Then we're going too." Michael said, "We will not allow our brother to risk his life, not by himself."

Lucifer smiled at his older twin.

"Thank you, Mikey." Lucifer said, before looking at Sera, "Are you going to go down and help?"

Sera looked down.

"I can't." She said, "Remember our deal? I'm not allowed near Emily until a sinner is redeemed, which means going into hell is not possible."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that deal five years ago." Lucifer said with a small grin. "Sorry and I mean that genuinely."

"Don't be, I knew the consequences, and I still will stick by them." Sera said, "Like you said, I'm an angel, I must have faith that it will happen, and I can reunite with Emily someday... if she'll allow that."

"I'm sure with time, she'll be happy to see you again. It had been five years after all." Michael said to her.

Lucifer glanced as he pulled his shirt collar.

'Oh, time means nothing to Emily.' He thought, remembering how Emily called Sera a "Bird Cunt" on a few occasions.

"Let's hurry down to the hotel. They should be expecting us." Lucifer said.

"Right behind you, Brother." Michael said, "Though, we shouldn't open a portal, with how things are, that might cause mass panic"

"So you suggest we take the long way down and free fall?" Lucifer asked with a grin. "Think you can handle that, bro?"

"Please. It's a little jump and fall, I don't see how scary it can be." Michael said, rolling his eyes.

"Hehehehehehe, you poor smug bastard." Lucifer said with a grin.

They left the meeting building and walked to the edge of Heaven.

"Gentleman... Jophiel... prepare to burn." Lucifer said, before jumping off with a backflip. "Whoo!"

The six archangels looked at each other, some feeling nervous while others were nonplus, before they all stepped forward.

"On three?" Azrael asked.

"Yes. That would be best." Michael said.

"Okay. One." Uriel said.

"Two." Gabriel added.

"Three." Michael said, before they all jumped.

The feeling of falling to Hell... was painful to say the least. The constant feeling of burning from the speed achieved, it would be enough to burn all the hair and feathers off a lesser angel, but that still didn't mean the archangels were having a walk in the park... well, except Lucifer.

"Feels good, doesn't it guys?!" He shouted with a wide grin, leaning back with his hands behind his head.

"GOOD?!" Raphael shouted at him. "YOU THINK THIS FEELS GOOD?!"

"Like a sauna!" Lucifer said with a nod. "Now you all know how I felt thousands of years ago!"

"How long did you endure this?!" Jophiel asked.

"I mean, the physical pain stopped after a couple hours, the mental and emotional pain of my fall lasted... ten thousands years." Lucifer said, shrugging. "You get used to it to be honest."

"...I am going to hug you when we land, brother!" Jophiel said as her guilt from Lucifer's fall came back tenfold.

"Also, word of advice, the longer in hell you are, the more you start to be accustomed to it." Lucifer said, before grinning. "Oh, we might even get Mikey to swear!"

"NEVER!" Michael shouted.

"Wait! So we could become fallen if the battle wags in too long?!" Gabriel shouted.

"Then we must kick Adam's pompous posterior quickly!" Azrael shouted, punching his hand

"Oh look, he spoke a full sentence!" Lucifer said, "He means business! And relax, you would have to be down here for months for it to full take affects. It won't take us that long to kill that prick."

"I hope you're right." Uriel said with a wince, still feeling the heat from the fall even as he used magical protection.

The angels landed in hell a few moments later, outside of Pentagram City in the red desert.

"You guys finally took me up on my offer to visit hell, only took 10 thousand years." Lucifer said.

"Yes. And all it took as our first creation becoming a madman and slightly singed feathers." Gabriel said.

"Well if you visited sooner, that could've been avoided." Lucifer said before Jophiel hugged him. "An Angel of your word?"

"Exactly." She replied.

"I appreciate it, but we do have to get going." Lucifer said, as he looked around. "From the looks of it, we're in the lower side of the pentagram, guess I'm a bit rusty when it comes to aim. Eh, no matter."

He clapped his hands and a limo rolled up.

"Alright, everyone in." Lucifer said.

'At least with this, we can enter the city without anyone spotting 6 archangels.' They thought as they all got in the limo.

The drive wasn't that long, but it felt like it took hours.

For tomorrow, they would go to war.
