The celebration in Wakanda had been a grand affair, but now, with the evening winding down, the atmosphere was filled with excitement and mischief. As the last of the students mingled and enjoyed the festivities, Peter, Morgan, Harley, and Shuri had a plan. A plan to cause a little chaos.
T'Challa, having spent most of the evening greeting guests, overseeing the festivities, and making sure everything was in order, was ready to finally retire to his private chambers. He had spent the night being the dignified king and the perfect host. But little did he know that trouble was brewing just a few steps away.
"Shuri," Peter whispered with a mischievous grin, “You ready?”
Morgan, who had been equally excited about the plan, nodded. "We've been waiting all night for this."
Harley just smiled, already knowing exactly what was coming. "Let's get him."
They had been planning this for hours, ever since they arrived at the palace. The idea was simple: irritate T'Challa, get him all worked up, and leave him wondering how he had become the target of such chaos. And the perfect accomplice? Shuri, of course.
Shuri, who had grown so fond of the trio over the years, was the perfect partner in crime. She treated them as her siblings, so it wasn’t too much of a stretch for her to team up with them for some harmless fun.
With a wink, Shuri leaned in closer. “Let’s do this, brother,” she said, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she glanced at T'Challa across the room.
T'Challa, who had just finished speaking with one of the dignitaries, turned to head for the balcony. Little did he know, the trio was preparing to strike.
“Okay, let’s split up,” Peter said. “Harley, you take the left. Morgan, you take the right. I’ll cover the middle. We’ll catch him from all sides.”
With the quiet efficiency of seasoned pranksters, they moved into position.

T'Challa stepped out onto the balcony, thinking about the events of the night, ready to unwind. It had been a good evening—nothing too chaotic. He was just about to relax when he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Brother," Shuri called, her tone sweet but with a hint of something mischievous, "Can I talk to you for a second?"
T'Challa turned, raising an eyebrow. "What is it, Shuri?" he asked, sensing the energy around her. "What are you planning this time?"
Before he could even finish his sentence, Peter, Morgan, and Harley sprang into action.
Peter was the first to sneak up behind him and, with a practiced move, pulled a small bucket of glitter from behind his back. In one swift motion, he poured it over T'Challa's head.
“Peter!” T'Challa shouted in surprise, his hands immediately flailing as the glitter sparkled and rained down on him, covering his hair and shoulders in a rainbow of shimmering dust.
Morgan and Harley, not missing a beat, burst into laughter as they joined in the chaos. Harley quickly wrapped T'Challa’s wrist with a playful band of neon-colored string, tying it in a knot before the king could react. Meanwhile, Morgan sneakily put a whoopee cushion on T'Challa’s chair, ready for him to sit down when he returned.
Shuri, unable to keep a straight face, pointed at her brother’s glitter-covered figure. “You should’ve seen your face, T'Challa. I can’t believe you fell for it!” she laughed, clutching her stomach.
T'Challa, now covered in glitter, glared playfully at his sister and the mischievous trio. "You three are impossible," he said, shaking his head in disbelief. "I’ve never met a more troublesome bunch of siblings in my life."
Morgan smirked. “You’re not getting off that easily, Uncle T'Challa. We’ve only just begun.”
Harley laughed, his mischievous grin never leaving his face. “You should’ve seen it coming, T'Challa. You’ve been living in Wakanda for years, but nothing can prepare you for a prank like that.”
As the group burst into even more laughter, T'Challa raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright! You got me. But remember, I’m the king of Wakanda. The next time you all decide to prank me, I’ll make sure it’s your turn to pay."
"Promises, promises," Shuri teased, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "You’ll get us back one day, I’m sure. But for now… we’ll enjoy the victory.”
Just then, T'Challa turned to face his sister and the trio, his expression softening. “You know, I never thought I’d have such a fun, chaotic group of siblings. You all make my life far more interesting than I ever expected it to be.”
Peter smiled, his usual playful demeanor now replaced with a genuine warmth. "We’re happy to have you as our family, T'Challa. No matter how many glitter bombs we throw at you."
Morgan nodded in agreement. “You and Shuri are like family to us, even if you sometimes have a hard time with our pranks.”
“Family,” Harley echoed, “is everything.”
T'Challa smiled, a deep sense of contentment settling in his chest. "I couldn’t agree more."
Shuri stepped forward, wrapping an arm around Peter, Morgan, and Harley. "You’re my siblings," she said proudly. "And that’s never going to change, no matter what we do to T'Challa or anyone else."
"Thanks, Shuri," Morgan said, her voice filled with affection. "We feel the same way."
T'Challa, still sparkling with glitter, chuckled and shook his head. “Alright, I’ll take the glitter. But remember, payback is coming. Don’t think I’ve forgotten.”
---
As the night wore on, the palace was filled with more laughter, the trio’s mischief adding to the fun and chaos of the evening. T'Challa may have been the king, but with Peter, Morgan, Harley, and Shuri around, he was just another sibling and uncle, caught up in the whirlwind of love and family that seemed to always follow them.
And as they gathered together, surrounded by the warmth of each other’s company, the trio knew that no matter where they went, whether Wakanda or elsewhere, they would always have each other—forever a family.
