TMNT 2012 (OCs Insert)

Wormquake!

Daku sighs to himself as he throws pebbles off the roof he is sitting on. He looks up when he hears a noise, "Karai, I don't want to hear another excuse."

"Wrong kunoichi, Daku."

The teen boy turns around, seeing the Turtles and Kaida, "Oh...hey. Haven't seen any of you since...you healed okay?"

"She's all healed now!" Mikey exclaims.

"Good." Daku picks up another pebble and throws it, hitting a water tower, "If you're here about the recent Footbot attack, that wasn't me. Karai stole some of my robots."

"Yeah, we figured." Raph crosses his arms, "We haven't seen you in action. Why?"

"Shredder's orders. He told me not to attack you until he comes back from Japan."

"So, you haven't attacked us for months because of an order?" Donnie asks.

"Exactly. Karai was originally in charge, but she disobeyed his orders when she attacked Kaida. You should have been there for the scolding she got. Heh." Daku picks up another pebble and throws it at a billboard, "You know...it sounds like he cares about you more than his own flesh and blood."

Kaida crosses her arms at this before looking at him, "Care to share why your father was going to Japan? I doubt it was for a vacation."

Daku chuckles at her joke, "He's bringing back some fresh faces for the clan. One is a mutant like you guys. A tiger if you can believe it."

"Daku, listen, there's something you should know."

"If it's a talk about my father, spare me the parables, Leonardo." Daku throws another pebble, "His revenge talk is corrupting this clan. And now, even my sister is losing herself in it."

"No, it's about your real family."

"Leonardo?" Kaida looks at him in confusion.

Daku's shoulders tense up, "...What are you talking about?"

"Shredder's not your father, and Karai's not your sister."

Daku stands up, "And you expect me to believe that-" he gets cut off when the world starts to shake, "Whoa!"

"Earthquake!" Mikey calls out.

"In New York?" Kaida stumbles before hearing something behind her.

"Everyone, get down!" Daku advises.

"Kaida, look out!" Leo tackles her out of the way of a falling chimney.

Once the shaking stopped, the six got back up.

"Is everyone okay?" Daku asks.

"What was that?" Leo helps Kaida up.

"Some kind of localized quake." Donnie explains, "But what caused it?"

Daku sighs, "Well, I can tell you that it wasn't the Foot. Maybe the Kraang had something to do with it. I better get going before Karai starts another assault...again." he leaps off the building.

...

"Scientists are calling them "microquakes," but they shake so hard, this reporter's hair was badly messed up!" Carlos Chiang O'Brien Gambe reports as his hair looked messy. He then smoothed it back, "No need for concern. I'm being treated by my stylist."

"Dude! His poor hair!" Mikey exclaims.

"Earthquakes in Manhattan? Something is definitely up." Raph says before he and Mikey head to Donnie's lab.

"I've been graphing the earthquake epicenters. They're happening in a pattern that's not at all random." Donnie points at his screen, showing his brothers the pattern.
