Terrors and fears

Sunny's POV

I found myself with my friends in an unknown and very dark place that seemed very scary so, when I regained consciousness while holding my head while getting up, I tried to remember what had happened before I was here as well as my friends but, no memory was in my head. I watched my friends who were composed of Lilas, Gabriella, Lea and Stella get up while also holding their heads while looking around them.
- Where are we? Lilas asked with fear in her voice that was usually cheerful.
- I don't know but, I find that this place is terrifying. I answered while continuing to look around me in search of a door that could lead us to the exit.
- Guys, I found a door. Stella declared while pointing at the door that was located behind her.
So we headed to the door and opened it to run slowly down the hallways. We suddenly stopped when we heard footsteps on the ceiling so by instinct I looked up but, there was nothing but the ceiling but to my horror I eventually realized that the noises were coming from the air vent in front but looking next to the air vent was a sentence I never wanted to hear: "I'll find you Sunny". I realized that the sentence was marked with blood as I could see drops running down from the letters to the floor.
- What is that?! Stella exclaimed looking at the bloody letters with horror in her chocolate brown eyes.
- Stella, I think this must be a joke from humans who want to scare us.
- But Sunny, how come they know your name?
- Oh, I don't know.
I eventually realized that Gabriella and Lilas were silent so, I decided to look at them but, Lilas had disappeared so, I looked around until I saw her on the ground with blood everywhere while gashes on her neck were seen with a bite on her face making her almost unrecognizable. I covered my mouth trying not to make a sound in front of Lilas' corpse, poor Lilas, she was only 8 years old.
- Sunny, are you sure this is now a joke. Gabriella declared while continuing to look at the corpse.
I didn't answer during Gabriella's statement as I was getting more and more scared looking at the corpse so, I looked away just to hear the same heavy footsteps coming closer to us so, we abandoned Lilas' corpse and then took refuge in another room for more safety. I ended up finding a woman with blond hair looking at us as we entered the room.
- Kids, what are you doing here? The unknown woman asked.
- Were we looking for the exit. I answered trying to stay calm.
- Were you kidnapped?
- I guess and one of our friends died by something that I think is us.
- Okay otherwise, my name is Clara and you?
- My name is Sunny and this is Gabriella, Stella and Lea but, we also had Lilas but she died with cuts on her neck and a big bite on her face.
I also explained what had happened before arriving in this room. I ended up hearing the same footsteps so, I turned my head towards the source of the noise but nothing at all but, I ended up seeing another sentence that was written in blood: "Every time I find you, one of your friends will die in front of you".
I looked at my friends and Clara but, they were the same which confused me about this sentence except Clara who was a little shocked since she was not there before.
- I have not seen this sentence before.
Lea then declared to Clara.
- I do not know where these sentences come from but, I have the impression that it is Sunny who is targeted as a threat target.
- Okay then, let's continue on our way to avoid the person finding us.
We nodded in response and went down the hallway to find another room so, Clara motioned for us to come which we did but as we all entered the almost dark room with the lighting of the cold hallways the door closed behind us leaving us in complete darkness.
- Damn, my phone no longer has wifi.
Clara suddenly declared in the darkness of the room which was very cold. I was shaking uncontrollably at this situation, it felt like we were in a horror movie but in reality. I ended up seeing the flashlight on Clara's phone turned on which lit up the dark room empty of objects.
- There, now we have a source of light.
I eventually heard noises coming from up ahead so I looked over to see something that was completely torn apart coming out of the air vent heading straight for Clara.
- Clara, be careful !!!
It was too late as the thing had already jumped on Clara biting her face and slowly tearing her apart as blood got everywhere in the room and on me and my friends as I tried to stop myself from screaming by covering my mouth with my two hands that were stained with blood, it was too much for me, I couldn't take it anymore. The thing finally made eye contact with me for what seemed like 1 minute and, it left with Clara's decomposed corpse. I looked at my friends who were also stained with blood as the faces of fear were clearly seen from the lighting of Clara's phone. I decided to take it and, we left and took the lit corridors. After a few minutes of walking, we arrived in a dining room which reassured me since I was starting to get hungry so, I took some leftover food with my friends who were on the festive tables. I looked around to see a yellow eye hidden behind the purple curtains with silver stars so, I wanted to tell my friends but, I couldn't find anyone except me. I ended up wondering where they were until I heard the girls screams from the curtains as my face changed from confidence to fear so I gathered enough courage and I headed towards the curtains using the phone but as I got inside the curtains I came across something sticky and horrible as the smell was even more horrible so I pointed my phone down to see two dead bodies which were Leah and Stella as parts of their bodies were filled with very serious cuts but I ended up seeing the same yellow eyes as before which seemed dangerously close to me so on instinct I started running as I was more terrified than before as I heard his quick footsteps behind me so I hid under a table hoping he wouldn't be able to find me.  I decided to look from under the table to see if they were nearby which they were as I heard the growls of the red fox that seemed to be looking for me as it searched every corner of the room. I ended up seeing the thing that killed Clara and Lilac, it looked like I assumed it looked like a white and pink fox but, completely destroyed as parts of its skeleton were visible. I ended up realizing that Gabriella was not there. At the mere thought, I panicked slowly and, I came out of my hiding place which attracted the attention of the two animatronics who were watching me without making any gestures. The female ended up coming towards me from the ceiling as I continued to look up with my terrified face. I decided to back away a little but, it got closer to me so, I did what my head said: run. I ran out of the dining room quickly as I heard her on the ceiling as I continued to run through random hallways hoping to leave this nightmarish place or at least get out of her field of vision. I ended up getting tired from running around so, I ended up slowing down to a jog but, it was a bad idea as I felt her grab me by my waist and pull me closer to her. I was shaking and moaning in fear of what she could do to me but, she took me to an unknown room as I wondered why didn't she kill me like my friends. My thoughts were interrupted when I felt that I was now on the cold floor as she came down from the ceiling to be in front of me.
- Hello little girl, my name is Mangle and yours?
I ended up answering to avoid her getting angry.
- My name is Sunny.
I looked at the ground in fear thinking about my friends and Clara who died in that place but Gabriella, I had no idea where she could be.
- Hey Sunny, I'm sorry about what happened that night but, I promise I won't hurt you but, can I ask you a question?
I realized that Mangle had a motherly voice when she said that which calmed me down as I was shaking less than before. So I nodded in response.
- Could you be my adopted daughter, I've always wanted to have a child.
I was shocked that she asked that so, I nodded in response with a small smile but, I ended up yawning a little tired.
- Are you tired, little one?
- Yeah, where can I sleep?
- Wait, I'll be right back.
My adoptive mother ended up going somewhere leaving me alone in this room. I ended up finding Clara's phone so I figured I'd keep it as a souvenir and for when it got too dark for me. She ended up coming back with curtains so I could sleep so I put them up and got under the curtains and fell asleep.

Narrator's POV

With Sunny's biological mother.
She had been waiting for years without finding any trace of her daughter as she became very worried from looking for her. She ended up going home to watch the news until she found some pretty shocking news.
