Mom Luang Pokket decided to keep the incident with Atthawit a secret. She asked Phakrat not to tell Krongkaew because she was afraid her mother would be shocked. Phakrat agreed but with the condition that the young woman should not work late and be more careful. They arrived at Khunying Ampha's house almost an hour late. When the car stopped, Krongkaew hurried out to greet her daughter.

"How are you, Ket? I was so worried."

Pokket lied to her mother that she was stuck in the bathroom, but Phakrat had gone in to help her. Although it was not the truth, it relieved both elders.

"Ket is fine, just a little startled."

She glanced at the young man and saw him smiling, which made her even more annoyed. Phakrat was an extremely old-fashioned man. After arguing about her outfit, Pokket sat silently. Along the way, she inadvertently observed the young man. Phakrat was a handsome man, rare to find. His long fingers resting on the steering wheel were as beautiful as a woman's, with neatly trimmed nails that were clean and tidy.

Regarding the neatness of the person, when he was in the car and saw her not speaking, he just stayed silent. And now, in front of Khunying Ampha, he is fully acting like an adult, making her think with prejudice in her heart, "What kind of man is this? So stiff. Has he ever smiled at her? Or is he as stiff as a robot, only good at following orders?"

"Oh... it's okay, dear. If anything, why don't you try telling Khun Arada tomorrow so she can fix the door latch?"

"Yes, Mom. Don't worry. Tomorrow, Ket will definitely talk to Khun Arada. It's already quite late, shall we go eat? Ket is worried about Khunying."

She clasped her hands and bowed to Khunying Ampha, who was smiling and waiting. The elderly woman glanced at her son before turning back to look at Pokket, making the young lady feel strange, but she was annoyed, so she didn't pay much attention.

"You don't have to worry. Aunt and Khun Krongkaew have already had something to eat, but Phak and Khun Ket must be very hungry."

"Ket is so hungry that her stomach is growling."

Khunying Ampha smiled fondly at the girl's straightforwardness.

"Shall we go into the house? Standing here and talking, we might still be hungry," Phak said.

The four of them walked into the dining room of the house. On the table was a variety of food that Khunying Ampha had prepared to entertain Krongkaew and her daughter. Pokket asked for permission to wash her hands and soon returned. The housekeeper then served rice onto the plates, and everyone chatted while eating.

"Aunt heard that Khun Ket is working as a manager at Arada's boutique, right?"

The young lady nodded. "Yes, yesterday at the party, I had the chance to meet Khun Arada. She invited me to work at the boutique."

"But doesn't Khun Arada have two daughters? Doesn't anyone want to learn the work from their mother?"

"I don't know the details about that, but I know that Khun Arawan has a regular job at the bank, while I'm not sure about Khun Aravee. Khun Arada said that she hasn't been well lately and wanted someone to help, so I quickly accepted."

Ket chose not to delve deeper into it, after all, the matters within Arada's family, especially since she is an employee, shouldn't be interfered with. It's not something that should be disclosed regarding the relationship between a mother and her child.

"Khun Ket graduated in fashion design, Khunying. She has long admired Arada's tailor shop. When she received the invitation, she didn't want to miss the opportunity."
