Aurora Fields knew who she was and what she wanted from a very young age. And it made almost every teenage girl on the island envy her for that it also made all the guys drool over her, Every guy except for Rafe Cameron. A kook who couldn't stand her because of what she did to him in their freshman year of high school which resulted into them being enemies than friends.
The blonde could care less about what the Cameron boy thought of her but the insults he threw at her did hurt, No one really knew why they hated each other it was a secret they planned on taking to their graves. Also treasure hunting was not part of Aurora Fields summer plans, She just didn't have the heart to turn down John B Routledge especially considering his father was missing and presumed dead.
The Fields family tried everything to be 'perfect' family and Aurora was honestly tired of it they were far from perfect, Her father was a workaholic and when he would come home it was to only yell at them and drink, Her mother tried her best to keep everything from falling apart and her brother was an asshole who only cared about himself. Ward Cameron was like a second father to Aurora he made sure she was taking care of when no one else did.
Aurora planned on having the best summer of her life.
