"This is just too much!"

"You can't say that. The outcome is uncertain. Yesterday, Ye Wenxin took on ten people and made it to the top fifty."

"Right, maybe she has a lot of help behind the scenes."

Hearing these comments, 'Ye Meijing' let out a wry smile and glanced at Feng Ya Xianzi, who was posing as 'Ye Wenxin' with an indifferent air. She whispered, "Master, can you land a few punches on her face?"

Feng Ya Xianzi tucked the secret chronicles into her storage pouch, gave 'Ye Meijing' a brief look, and slowly said, "Is there a grudge?"

Seeing a chance, 'Ye Meijing' nodded vigorously.

Feng Ya Xianzi nodded back but then uttered something completely contrary to her gesture.

"Oh, then you definitely shouldn't hit her."

"Why not?"

'Ye Meijing' felt the story was going off track. Shouldn't Feng Ya Xianzi defend her poor, weak, and helpless disciple at this moment?

"Handle your own affairs," Feng Ya Xianzi replied, leaping lightly onto the stage, leaving the conflicted 'Ye Meijing' suddenly longing for Ling Jue…

The match officially began, with Su Mei first clasping her fists and exchanging a few pleasantries with Feng Ya Xianzi.

"Miss Wenxin, let's keep this friendly. I promise not to hurt you."

Feng Ya Xianzi nodded slightly but remained silent. She knew she differed too much from Ye Wenxin, and speaking might reveal her identity.

"Then I'll make my move."

With those words, Su Mei's palm strike turned sharp, aiming directly at Feng Ya Xianzi.

Feng Ya Xianzi easily dodged, though she frowned slightly. It wasn't that Su Mei's attack was formidable, but it was ruthless, lacking any trace of the Xianzong style.

Such conduct made Feng Ya Xianzi glad she was the one on stage, rather than her babbling, bizarre-drug-using disciple.

With this thought, Feng Ya Xianzi exuded a hint of killing intent. She didn't draw her sword but employed the most basic sword qi technique of Cangyu Sect.

Every entry-level disciple learned this sword qi technique, and Feng Ya Xianzi intended to use it to secure victory.

"Sword Qi Technique, ha!" Su Mei laughed more intensely. Having been mocked by Ye Wenxin repeatedly, she harbored resentment. But now, Long Qingyue had given her a chance to 'shine' and challenge Ye Wenxin.

Defeating Ye Wenxin might lead her to success.

Naively, Su Mei believed she could rise to glory, unaware that Long Qingyue intentionally set her against 'Ye Wenxin' to test the strength of Ye Wenxin's hired fighter.

The battle was about to explode, but Feng Ya Xianzi's use of the sword qi technique changed the dynamic of what was expected to be a one-sided fight.

A strong sword intent filled the arena, causing the platform to tremble.

Realizing she had overexerted herself, Feng Ya Xianzi restrained the sword intent. In an instant, nine golden swords appeared, flying toward Su Mei.

"Is this really the sword qi technique?"

"Did I learn a fake sword qi technique?"

The crowd was stunned. What was a basic technique for beginners transformed into a profound martial art in 'Ye Wenxin's' hands. If ordinary people used a level 1 sword qi technique, Feng Ya Xianzi seemed to wield a level 99 version.

Such overwhelming killing intent made it feel like even a touch of the sword intent could obliterate one's soul.

"Wenxin! You'll run out of qi, take your medicine now!"

'Ye Meijing' also noticed the stir Feng Ya Xianzi caused. It was no joke; she was the unique protagonist Feng Ya Xianzi. Her version of the sword qi technique couldn't possibly match the ordinary. Her main concern was Feng Ya Xianzi overdoing it, jeopardizing Ye Wenxin's low-profile act.

Seemingly noticing 'Ye Meijing's' hint, Feng Ya Xianzi nodded slightly, pulling a bottle of pills from her robe.

The familiar bottle, the familiar scene, and then she downed it in one go.

"That scoundrel really came to watch my match yesterday!"

Witnessing the seamless motion, 'Ye Meijing' stood abruptly, as if seeing yesterday's bizarre scene replayed on the stage.

"Tsk, damn alchemist."

"This time, she upgraded to a level six pill. That's millions of spirit stones in one gulp."

The crowd emitted envious sounds, but watching Feng Ya Xianzi's pill consumption, they understood why 'Ye Meijing' could unleash such fierce sword intent.

It was entirely propped up by pills, unstable and even life-threatening.

In reality, this was Feng Ya Xianzi's deliberate act to conceal her true strength. Seeing the crowd's chatter, she felt strangely peculiar.

Accustomed to attention, all previous gazes were of admiration, never filled with such disdain. For a moment, Feng Ya Xianzi considered dismissing her seemingly ill-reputed disciple.

Su Mei, thinking Feng Ya Xianzi's prowess was pill-induced, saw her daze on stage and attacked viciously.

Without even glancing at her, Feng Ya Xianzi released the nine swords, sending them flying towards Su Mei. The swords were so swift that before Su Mei could move, she felt pierced by countless arrows.

She stood there, trembling, realizing there were no wounds on her body and understanding 'Ye Wenxin' was merely bluffing.

Yet she was so frightened that her legs gave way, unable to move. The host suddenly took the stage, curious about 'Ye Wenxin's' exit, seeing Su Mei had fled the ring herself, leaving 'Ye Wenxin' to forgo the attack.

"Winner, Ye Wenxin!"

With those words, the crowd erupted, though their surprise now mingled with awe. But it wasn't over; the 'Ye Wenxin' who had left returned to the stage.

No one understood why 'Ye Wenxin' returned, not even 'Ye Meijing,' who watched in confusion. In a swift motion, Feng Ya Xianzi decisively slapped Su Mei's face.

The slap left Su Mei seeing stars, and before she could react, a second and third slap followed.

'Ye Meijing' was completely stunned. To the eye, it seemed she was the one dealing with the despicable Su Mei, but in truth, Feng Ya Xianzi was handling it for her.

Watching this delightful scene, 'Ye Meijing' couldn't help but wax poetic, exclaiming, "Since ancient times, who has not faced death? You’re a villain, and your death comes first!"
