Caitlyn and vi had started walking hands grasped together, there shoes clinking with the ashy dirt every now and then rumbling with tiny rocks the wind blowing there hair away from there face. Caitlyn had felt a little trickle of water drop down on her nose.
Using her other hand to bring it to her nose before it continued to trickle down, luckily for her though she brought her bag pulling out her umbrella as it shot up now hearing water droplets hit the plastic object and as the wind hit down on it.
Caitlyn had then looks over to vi once again realizing that the water continued to soak at her skin a few droplets laying on her lashes her hand going up to wipe it off. "you want it ?" Caitlyn said offering her umbrella while still managing to cover herself.
"it's alright cupcake, I'll be alright" vi responded already having a rasp to her voice following with a slight cough after. Caitlyn could sense the cold already creeping up on her.
Caitlyn had ignored the answer that vi responded with not caring and itching closer to vi grasping her hand, vi letting out a flinch from the suddenly contact of skin. Caitlyn had held her hand to where the umbrella had laid upon both of them as they then continued walking a slight smile tugging at vi red tinted lips.
As they walked they ran upon a dessert shop. Caitlyn had put her umbrella away tucking it back into her backpack as the bell chimed showing there presence walking towards the table Caitlyn set her bag down. "wait here while i order" Caitlyn spoke softly as she strolled towards the front desk " hi what can i get you!" The cashier spoke with joy a wide smile spread displaying All her teeth " uhm yes can i get one slice of the strawberry cream cake and one strawberry filled cupcake" Caitlyn spoke using the same tone.
Caitlyn walked back towards the table vi had waited at moving her bag out the seat and placing it down on the floor setting down two paper bags on the table vi admiring her features the way her eyes looked full of life as if she wouldn't even hurt a fly admiring the way her eyes lit up the way her lips were so plump the slight pink tint her checks would turn at any sudden skin to skin moment or any thing vi said.
Vi got snapped out her thoughts as Caitlyn snapped her fingers in her face " hello? Earth to vi" she spoke in the other hand holding a yellow breaded cupcake with white frosting on top and a strawberry that was cut in half at the tip of it. " sorry just admiring you" she spoke with a smirk Caitlyn sheepishly smiled the exact pink tint vi had been admiring minutes ago as she got a fork and started digging into her cake.
" hey you got something on your top" vi said pointing towards Caitlyn's rib cage. She willingly looked down suddenly feeling the cold sensation on the bridge of her nose looking up realizing vi had put frosting from her cupcake on it " oh seriously?" Caitlyn spoke with a small cackle escaping her lips while vi on the other hand had been trying to hold in her laugh though letting it escape once Caitlyn had realized.
People had looked at them weird but they hadn't cared it was like they were the only people in the world at that very second creating memories with eachother.
