Chapter 7 ~ Lights, Camera, and Fail

"Are you sure you're going to make it past the first round?" Furina asked. Byleth was getting his outfits onto the models and then he turned toward Furina, "Look. I know that sounds most INCREDIBLY discouraging but that is an unfortunate case of going against the TOP designer!"

Byleth muttered, "I have to believe in myself. I want to beat him so people can know my name..." Furina looked at him and looked at the runway. Nervous about failing her part for the finale if Byleth made it all the way to the final round. Byleth kept watching the models walk the runway and he appeared just so ecstatic about the event. "They love my designs!"

Furina giggled, "Yeah, that's good to hear...! Haha..." Furina played with her hair as Byleth continued watching the people continue to go down the runway. He was in such awe with his creations. Getting more and more excited realizing nobody was comparing to him. He was getting really excited overall. Then soon Rowan came walking over.

"Greetings you two, I am most certainly happy to see you once more in person. It seems like you're enjoying the fashion show, Eisner," Rowan chuckled. Byleth ignored him as Furina continuously waved at him, "Oh greetings dear Furina De Fontaine! Your performances are always through the roof!" Furina smiled at him as Byleth continued watching the show.

Furina laughed, "I sure hope you do come to attend more! I don't know when I will be hosting another event but surely soon enough!" She had a very bright smile on her face as she and Rowan shook hands. Byleth glanced over and saw the two talking. Rolling his eyes in the process. Soon the fashion show ended and Byleth was one of the first to move onto the second round.

"Seems like everything is going correctly... this is good," Byleth muttered. He looked at his clipboard and started helping with getting the outfits sorted out for the second round. Furina sat around and waited for everything to pass by. That's when she got a message from her communicator. She turned it on and it was a message from Hu Tao.

"Were u at?"

"At the fashion show in Dawn, wdym?"

"Sushi was wonderin where u were at lol,"

"Oh, yeah i'm at the fashion show lol,"

"Where is it?"

"In... Dawn City."

"K," The messages ended as Furina just did one long sigh. She turned over toward Byleth and he was basically finished with getting everything set up. He took a deep breath and smiled toward Furina.

Furina asked, "Hey, is it okay if the other team members come by and visit the fashion show?"

"I mean why not, but I'm going to ensure that I make a TRUE name for myself when I BEAT Rowan," Byleth explained. Furina nodded. She peeked her head from behind the curtains and saw all the different audience members. Not only that but she saw the judges as well.

Furina muttered, "Those are some top fashion judges..."

"Yes, which is why I need to do all I can to impress them," Byleth muttered. And soon the second round began. Furina watched the first team go up with their designs. She found them rather interesting but they aren't fashionable. Seeing even some reactions from the judges not being too pleasing. She felt herself getting nervous if they were going to make it to the final round. She bit her nails a bit before seeing Byleth get everyone else on the runway for his team.

Furina muttered, "All of Byleth's designs are both unique and fashionable. I have confidence but why do I feel like... this won't work out in the end?" She kept her hands to her chest as Byleth watched over everything. Furina then proceeded to get a message on her communicator again. This time being from Shuichi.
