"I am going to kill you for what you have done." The hero lifted the gun, snarling at the man in front of her.

"You won't do it. You're the hero, you can't," he said with a smirk.

"I don't care anymore. And if this makes me a villain, so be it. You deserve so much worse than what is about to happen Jack."

"You still won't," his smirk turned devious, "you're too soft."

The villain walked up beside the hero with a smile, 'Maybe she is. But I'm not."

The villainlifted his own gun and shot Jackin the head. He fell to the ground, blood pooling beneath him.The hero turns to the villain, worry and guilt in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I am used to it," he takes a pause, looking at the hero. Blood and ash covered the hero, brusies and scratches showed through all the gunk.

"What did they do?" He asked carefully.

She opens her mouth as if to say something then stops. The last bit of light in her eyes shutters out as the memories flood in. Tears start to form but don't fall.

"He... He killed my village, for no reason. My people. Everyone of them. Even the children. Half he killed on his own, going on a rampage, before locking the rest in their homes and burning them." Her words came out barely a whisper.

Well that explained the ash.

"Where's the blood from?"

The tears finally started to fall as she stared off somewhere behind him, " He... M... My daughter. He killed her last, in front of me. One of his goons held me back. I think I k-killed him."

And that explains the body I saw walking here.

"I held her in my arms as she... As she died."

The hero started to sob and shake. Her eyes not moving. The villain turned around to see where she was looking. A child lay on the ground. Cuts and bruises all over her. There were bullet holes on her legs and torso. Brutal, he didn't just kill her. He took his time and had fun.
