This was written back in January and there is more to it, but personally this is based on something in my life, some events altered and there will be other stories here. Probably short ones. I haven't decided. I'm still on my au craze, but for oc content this will be the place for it, as short little stories for them, well until the day I finally figure out what i wanna do for a whole original story.

This was written by me a while ago, a year ago actually in 2023. Pfft. I do have an original story in the works now btw. So you all might see previews here, maybe... .We all know I mostly write fanfiction.

Darkness. Hazel colored eyes squinted in it as her hands moved along the walls. Her feet felt the cold floor— she made it.

Her eyes went to the windows of this night, and she climbed up to the sink, and carefully sat in the middle. Not in the sink, but definitely enough that she couldn't fall in. Her eyes looked out and suddenly began watered.

"Thank you, Lord—thank you." Wiping away tears from her eyes she sees something in the corner of her eye and slams a fist down. She pauses, lifts the hand, and sees of course nothing.

"Still there—I guess." She says aloud to herself, in the empty room. She looks around the dark and sees the white walls appear in the dark, well sorta. A little brown topped area of wall separates the living room and dining room, and she looks at the bare glass door. A pine stood outside as one of the street lights flicker. Fridge hums as does random air conditioning outside. Her smile stayed.

"Guess, this is our new home." She whispers to herself once more and climbs down, content pulsing within. She walks out of the white tilted area to the wood floors, and to a hallway, one side, her mom's room. The middle, a bathroom, and then to the right, her room. She heads down, feeling the walls still as a guide, and reaches the doorknob. Turning it and closing the door behind herself. She sees her laptop still on the floor, bright light shining from it moving with a random video. She lays down by it, on some warm and soft blankets. Her pallet, though it's just some ninja turtle blanket and the thick horse one she had before this place, its so cozy. Nothing is here, she thinks, and snuggles right up to the white clean pillow. Her brown mixed with green eyes shut, listening to what she had on, and then soft breathing came as she laid in a peaceful pose, one arm under her pillow and brown hair, and her legs curled up. Her smile stayed with her breath as slowly sleep crept in sight. Her vision became clouded in the video playing, the person mumbling as she put the cover over her head and like that. The girl fell asleep, content with the move, and this new place is heaven compared to the last house, though barely anything was saved, at least she is away from it.
