The Stark household was alive with the kind of energy only a family like theirs could bring. Morning sunlight streamed through the windows, illuminating the cozy chaos of breakfast. Peter was in the kitchen, a baby sling strapped to his chest where Max was fast asleep, while Joey lounged in a bassinet nearby.
“Alright, Joey,” Peter said, flipping a pancake with one hand and stirring a pot of formula with the other. “Let’s see if Dad can pull off breakfast and baby duty at the same time.”
Morgan strolled in, rubbing her eyes and stifling a yawn. “Smells good in here. Didn’t know you had cooking skills, Pete.”
“Skills might be a stretch,” Harley teased, plopping down at the counter with a mischievous grin. “But I’ll eat whatever he burns.”
Peter shot him a mock glare. “One more word and I’m giving your plate to Morgan.”
Tony walked in just in time, his coffee in hand. He raised an eyebrow at the scene. “Is this a kitchen or a daycare?”
“A little of both,” Peter quipped, adjusting Max as the baby stirred. “But don’t worry, Dad. I’ve got this under control.”
Tony chuckled, sipping his coffee. “You keep saying that, kid. We’ll see how long it lasts.”
In the corner, Steve entered quietly, scanning the room. He shared a knowing glance with Tony, the weight of their earlier conversation hanging between them.
After breakfast, Tony and Steve asked Peter to join them in the workshop once the kids were settled. MJ had taken over baby duty, allowing Peter some time to himself.

The Workshop
Tony tapped away at his keyboard, a holographic message displayed before him. Steve leaned against the counter, his arms crossed. Peter walked in, still wiping his hands on a towel.
“What’s up?” Peter asked, glancing between his dads. “You two look serious.”
Tony gestured toward the hologram. “This came in while you and Morgan were in Wakanda. It’s encrypted, but it’s got Fury’s fingerprints all over it.”
Peter stepped closer, reading the brief message aloud.
“‘Unusual activity detected. Possible Hydra resurgence. Details classified. Await further instructions.’”
His brow furrowed as he turned to Steve. “Hydra? I thought they were wiped out years ago.”
Steve nodded solemnly. “So did I. But Hydra has a way of crawling back from the shadows. Fury wouldn’t send this unless he was sure.”
Peter rubbed the back of his neck, his mind racing. “Do you think this has something to do with Wakanda? Or us?”
Tony shook his head. “It’s too vague to tell. But Fury doesn’t do coincidences. If he thinks Hydra’s resurfacing, it’s worth looking into.”
Steve placed a hand on Peter’s shoulder, his expression firm yet gentle. “We wanted to loop you in because this could affect all of us. But for now, focus on the twins and your responsibilities. Tony and I will dig into this.”
Peter nodded, his determination clear. “Let me know if you need me. I can handle the kids and Spider-Man stuff. I’m not sitting this one out if it gets serious.”
Tony smirked. “That’s the spirit, Underoos. But for now, keep your spidey-senses tuned to diapers and baby bottles. We’ve got this.”

Later That Evening
The house had settled into its evening rhythm. Joey and Max were fast asleep, Morgan and Harley were bickering over a video game, and MJ had collapsed on the couch, her feet propped up on a pillow.
