AN ARTICLE: KILLING OF WOMEN
Are you wondering what's happening to women these days? The recent killing of women these days have risen to about 500 women have been killed since 2019.Kenyans are still in shock as women and school girls are being killed without knowing who the real killer is. The increasing number of femicide especially in this 2024 year is a troubling pat to Kenyans. By the end of January in 2024 , 10women were recorded during the month of January and within the 10 women most of them were recorded as gender based violence. Since 2016, over 500 femicide cases have been reported though there are others that we are not aware of due to media coverage. These cases are mostly done by intimate partners or family members that are responsible about 55% of femicide cases
