Entering the top University

This is my first time writing.
English is not my first language so please ignore my grammatical mistakes.
The story is a slow burn so please read patiently.

Hi! I'm the inner voice of feng jia. Let me tell you the preview of her life.

Jia' s parents moved from China to America when jia was 5 years old. They worked hard and bought an apartment in new york.Jia was a kind hearted girl and a people pleaser. She was weak inside so she pretended to be strong on the outside to prevent getting hurt. Through her hard work, jia got into the top fashion institute "Louisa morris school of fashion" through a scholarship program for meritorious students.After graduation, she got offers from top companies but she rejected all of them and worked for a small clothing company " Macies".

You would think she is a normal fashion designer but she had a secret life unknown to everyone except her parents and her younger cousin Feng bingwen.

"Mom, I'll call you later. I'm late for work".jia hangs up the call and grabs a sandwich.

She quickly leaves her apartment to go to her office.
She arrives at the Macies at sharp 8am and greets the staff a very good morning.
She sits on her desk and starts eating the sandwich while scrolling through her phone watching the latest fashion news.
The company was small so there were not much strict rules and her schedule was quite flexible due to less workload.
She starts designing and contacting clients for project details.

Fast forward to 5 pm , she decides to visit the nearby clothing exhibition held by wei & ren . She informs the manager and takes her leave.

At the exhibition, she takes out her little notebook and starts writing down the details of various works displayed.

Suddenly, her eyes were fixated on a very beautiful young woman of her same age . Her eyes were hazel, her bobcut gave her a fierce look and her figure appeared to be like of a supermodel. It was the famous fashion critic , Su Ren . The daughter of the rich Su family.

" Miss, will you stop staring at me now."

Jia didn't realise she was continuously staring at ren in the awe of her beauty.

No , she isn't into women . Stop with your imaginations readers.

"Oh! I'm sorry . It's just.....
You are very pretty"

" Thank you for the compliment beautiful lady . Are you a designer?" Ren asks with curiosity.

"Yes"

" Can you tell me the details of this hanfu?" Ren points at the nearby mannequin .

"Oh this , it is designed by the famous designer, Mrs Su ling. It is hand embroidered with beautiful plum blossoms on the delicate silk. This type of design was worn during the han Dynasty by the female dancers during the banquet where princes and princesses enjoyed the traditional dances like the sword dance ."

"Not many people know about the traditional Chinese clothing in new york. Do you like hanfu clothing?"

" Very much , although I spent a little bit of time in china. I always loved the traditions and cultures. " Said jia with excitement.

Then the conversation started between them about various works present in the exhibition.

Ren and jia seemed to enjoy each others company . They quickly became friends after their first meet .

They meet several times and went to various exhibitions, parks and explored new cafes in new york. Ren felt she finally found a friend who loved her for her personality not for her money and status.Jia found a amazing person who supported her always and gave her strength. They became besties in the span of 6 months.
They were like black cat - golden retriever duo.

One day , Ren invited jia for family dinner . It was the first time she was meeting ren's family .

Ren had already met jia's parents .So Ren asked jia to come at her family house on the Sunday.

Jia got nervous . Ren assured her family was very nice .

Obviously, she isn't going to badmouth her family . In the history of billionare families , is there a sane and nice family?

But anyway jia agreed to go after constant requests by ren.

On Sunday, jia took out her most beautiful dress . A blue floral dress which she designed herself. She looked like a fairy that descended on earth in that dress.

Ren picks up jia from her apartment and then drives to her family house . Well , it was a huge mansion.

" Just chill, okay. Only my parents and my boyfriend Alex is going to be there.
My elder brother might come if he has time "Ren said while entering the gates of the mansion .

"You have a brother? When did that happen"

" Just 2 years before my birth"

" No , I mean you never told me."

Both step out of the car. Ren hands the keys to the guard for parking.

They both now move towards the main door. Jia seems to be pretty anxious.

They enter the mansion and are welcomed by a sudden........
