They left. And quickly too. I can't believe it! Probably attending to the prince's needs. But they did say the camp was somewhere on this island. All I have to do is find it. But it won't be easy, as this mutant crab thing is depending on me. "You lied to the gods, why should I let you come with me?" I ask. He snickers at me. "I did what anyone would do in the presence of a god. And besides, I can just go back to the village. I don't have to come with you." "Yeah, good luck with that! It took us hours by carriage, imagine walking that far!" His smile fades. "Whatever. I hope I will never see you again." I roll my eyes. He storms off. Good luck I guess. I have better things to find than arguing with a crab. I found a trail, almost made out of glass? It's quite confusing. It is glowing, but it isn't hot; not even warm. I decided to walk on the path, and I came across a sign. It has two pointing directions; one saying "SPIRIT CAMP", and the other pointing to my village; Delor. I obviously follow the path for spirit camp. It's a long path, I walk for an hour. I get really tired, and decide to rest. I rest by a tree, outside a forest. I feel hot, the sun beaming down does not make it any better. I close my eyes, and think about my mother. I cant imagine what she is thinking right now. I didn't even say goodbye. But when I think about her, I hear rustling in the bushes. I turn around, but see nothing. "Hey!" a voice shouts. I turn around, with almost no energy. "Who is there..." I exclaim weakly. "Who are you? Why are you invading our village?" I open my eyes. "I'm not... I'm just resting." A girl comes out of the bushes. She is an elf, and a beautiful one to add. Light brown hair, golden yellow eyes, and many piercings on her elf ears. "I'm sorry for bothering you, we are just on edge. Our village has been under attack for years. We need to stay alert. You are not a spy, are you?" I shake my head. "Are you okay? You seem sick." I shake my head again. "I feel tired, and very hungry." "Oh. Well if you come with me, I will give you fresh water and food. We might even give you supplies. What's your name? Why are you here?" "I'm Eloise. I'm on my way to Spirit camp... I just need to rest..." I slur. "Well come with me. I said I will help you." I struggle to get up. I feel so fatigued, and I eventually get up. I follow her deep into the woods, where there are many cottages and houses. There is a spiked wood fence surrounding the village, and we go in through a secret gate. I follow her slowly to a cottage, where an older lady greets me. "Visitor! We don't have those often." The lady exclaims. I smile. "Grandma, she is not very healthy. She is tired, and needs something to eat." "Ahh yes. I just made mushroom soup, which is very good for tiredness." I smile. "Thank you..." I walk inside. The cottage has a lot of beautiful art, both clay and paintings. "Wow. Such beautiful art here." The lady smiles. "Thank you, it takes time to create." She goes to the back, and the girl talks to me. "I'm Dahlia, but please call me Vix." "Vix? Why Vix?" "It was what my grandpa called me. I still miss him. He died while defending the village from invaders years ago." I feel bad for her. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your zodiac?" She paused for a minute. She showed me her neck. That's where all zodiac marks are, showing the world their zodiac. She appears to be a Taurus. "What's your zodiac?" I freeze, embarrassed. "Well??" "I-I don't have one. I'm a Voce." She raises an eyebrow. "Stop. You and I both know that Voces only exist in books. Show me your neck." I pull away my hair, and show her my left side of my neck, where the rising sign should be. She comes closer to me. She touches my neck, and its a bit creepy. "Wow... I..." She is obviously shocked. "Are your parents Voces? Were you born like this?" "My mom was a Pisces, and my father was a Sagittarius. And yes, I was born like this." I hesitate. "Ah. Okay." The lady comes out with a bowl of steaming hot soup. It smells irresistible. I am so hungry. "Thank you." I smile. I eat the hot soup with a spork, and it is delicious. I gobble it up quickly, leaving only bits and crumbs in the bowl. "Wow. Someone was very hungry. I'm glad you like it. But I must ask. Where are you going? Why did you stop here?"
