I'd take a deep breath before knocking on his locker room door.
"Come in." I heard a voice without any real emotion behind it.
I would walk into the locker room closing the door behind me, "Hi, I'm Tea.. I'm your new assistant or.. whatever you want to call it.."
He would just look at me and gruff, and I'd just take that as a sign he didn't want to be bothered at the moment.
I'd walk over and sit down on a chair and I'd get on my phone just scrolling through some social media posts.
He would get up from the bench putting his gloves on but he was having trouble, so I would stand up and walk over grabbing his hand helping him with the glove.
He would look down at me and pull his hand away from mine. "I got it."
I'd continue to try to help him, "I said I got it." He would spat out
I would look up at him "fine." I would walk back over to the chair I was sitting in then sit back down.
He would walk towards the mirror that stood behind the lockers, fixing his hair. I sat there watching his muscles tense and flex as he was messing with his hair when I heard him speak.
"I'm not just some helpless, muscled idiot. I don't need help, I don't need you. I do things on my own and I'm absolutely okay with that, I don't even know why they hired you." He would put his hands on his hips fixing his belt a bit before walking out of the locker room towards the gorilla.
I would sit in my chair dumbfounded, but I had to remind myself that Paul did say Roman was an asshole.
I'd eventually make my way out of his locker room and find my way to the gorilla and I'd sit down in a chair behind the curtain where Paul and other creative executives were sitting.
Roman would look over as he saw me walk into the room and he'd just look at me with these emotionless eyes. I kind of felt bad for him, I don't know what he was dealing with or what happened but those eyes just looked sad..
I wanted to do something to help him, but he seems to not want my help at all, with absolutely anything and I didn't want to push it or him.
"Look, I know you have a job to do. But so do I, so just focus on doing whatever I tell you too and stay the hell out of my way okay? And like I already said, I don't need help and if I do I'll ask you. Otherwise do not just bud in and start helping me." He would say still giving me that emotionless look.
I would just nod at him as he sighed and ran his hand through his hair before walking out to the ramp and making his way to the ring.
**Flashback to 5 months ago**
My friend would tell me about a job opportunity as an assistant at WWE. She sent me the information and I would look into it, I had high hopes because I've been told how great my people skills are and how good at time management and making sure everyone and everything is on schedule as it should be. I would send in an application and my resume, hoping for the best. I've always been a WWE fan also so it also helps that I know the wrestlers names and their personalities or personas, how they react to certain things, and their moves...
