The Castle

Walking on the street he looked like a zombie. He had not gotten almost any sleep and was now suffering the consequences. But it wasn't his fault, how could a dragon even live there? He had to get to the upper areas of the Dragon Continent, and now.

So, even half asleep, he continued his walk. But it was drawing a lot of attention, which wasn't good; the dragons were getting suspicious.

But lucky there wasn't a lot of walking that needed to be done.

There were four sectors the dragon kingdom was divided into, one for the first four dragon ranks.

Three of them were arranged in a circle, going from weakest to strongest, getting smaller each time. And the general sector, in the middle of the

There weren't many generals, so the sector was mainly just a castle where the king and the generals lived. Since it was just a castle, they thought it was a better idea to put it in the middle of the continent. The heart of the continent, the place with the most power, is the point where one of the strongest beings lived. Every dragon dreams of reaching that place one day.

But how will he infiltrate, or how will he survive there without being caught?

He had a plan.

He arrived at the entrance of the castle, and with his tired look, used Azel to get inside.

This part was easy, even if Azel wasn't all that powerful, she was still a sibling of the Dragon King, of course, she would be let inside. Who would go against the sister of the mighties being alive?

But the hard part was surviving inside the castle, after all, he couldn't use Azel for the whole day, so he had to think of something.

...

In a lavish room, there stood a man. His beard was long like an old man, but he was bald, his head reflecting even the weakest light. His eyes are like an angel's wing, as white as they could get, that was the same for his beard.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, that looked like it had fought many wars with all that junk on it.

His pants were ripped, like they were bitten by a dog.

Was this really a general, what power could this man have to be allowed to live like this in one of the most important places in this world?

He looked like an ordinary drunk old man, what made it even weirder was that he almost looked dead. With his iris being white, and the ordinary white pupils dragons have he didn't look alive, but dead. Holding a beer in his right hand and wine in the other he yelled for a maid. Hearing his voice they all got nervous.

This guy was known for being terrible to the maids and things similar to them, he was also known for being very demanding and flirty with the female maids.

As a maid entered he looked at it confused, he had never seen this one before...

Indeed he did, Max had decided to disguise himself as a maid in the castle. He had knocked out a guard who was peeing, taking all his stuff before entering the castle.

The maid in the castle were all humans, this was another way the dragons used human slaves besides for war. These humans chosen to be maids were considered weak, not worthy enough to fight for the dragons even as a slaves.

He had chosen this method because of his skills as a maid, I guess being assigned to help them as a child had really come into play. But this method did bring a bitter sweat taste to his mouth, it reminded him of the past, his ex-family. Sadly Max's first day wasn't going to be easy.

"Ah, I haven't seen you around here before."

Max got a little irritated as the words from the man's mouth came with such a prideful tone. He answered trying to keep a smile on his face.

'Yeah that's right, I hope that doesn't mean I can serve someone like yourself.'

"No no of course you can, I was in the mood for a girl maid If you know what I mean."

'...I don't sir.'

The man sighed at Max's foolishness.

"How old are you, by my guess, you're around eighteen to twenty-three years old."

'Im actually fifteen...'

The man blinked twice, then started hysterically laughing. But seeing that Max was still not laughing and had a serious look on his face he realized he wasn't joking.

"Then you must not know who I am. I am the Dragon Of Ice, the strongest dragon to ever exist with the ice drive. I freeze my opponents and put them in a room as decorations.

Now go and get me more beer.

'Understood sir.'

He spent the day serving generals in the castle, it was a pain in the ass to talk to so many egoistic bastards. But he had to, until the night came he had to.

He had planned at night that he was going to search the castle for any possible location Isabelle might be.

But this old man wasn't giving him a break, I guess he found Max interesting because he kept asking for him. Was it because of his appearance, or because he was suspicious?

But night had finally come, it was time to find his sister.

It had been way too much time. This was it, if he got caught he was dead, if he didn't he would either just go back to the Human Continent alone or with Isabelle. For him, this was worth it.

'There isn't a risk a brother wouldn't take for his own, because losing them meant losing the world and that is worse than everything possible and impossible.'
