Brandy found her dorm... she opened the door and looked around. There were three beds. Two were already taken. A girl with thick short hair munching on a piece of chocolate hoped over to Brandy. Another girl with thick black hair followed soon after.
Brandy set her suitcase down on the unoccupied bed.
"Hi I'm Dot! This ray of sunshine is Hester!" The chocolate-eating girl said. She acted like she had a massive sugar rush! Fun!
Hester on the other hand stared Brandy down sharply, like she was searching her soul for her deepest secrets!
"What up with the lunch lady gloves? So you wash dishes or something?"Hester asked.
Brandy was kinda caught off guard. The children back home were raised to talk politely and not point out a person's differences...
"I'm these are for everyone's safely... everything I touch catches on fire... I can't control it yet unfortunately .." Brandy shrugged ...
Dot's face lit up! "Holy shit! You have fire. I have chocolate. All we need is marshmallows and graham crackers and we could totally make S'mores!!!"
Hester had a big smile on her face!!!
"We should totally do that one night, after curfew! If we get caught we are so dead!" Hester said.
"That would be so much fun! " Brandy said.
"Anyways... we still have a few hours before the Welcoming Ceremony! You need to get settled and freshen up!" Dot said and she scurried away to heaven knows where...
Brandy began unpacking her suitcase!!! She didn't have much it was better than nothing..."
she looked over and noticed everyone had their own wardrobe cabinet.. she wandered over to the cabinet and slowly opened the doors...she was shocked: there were clothes she'd only dream of wearing,shoes, jackets;everything!
"Wow! How do they know my sizes and my styles?" Brandy wondered. She noticed a note taped to the inside of the door:
"Here is your outfits for the school year. Don't like it? I don't give a shit!" -Lady L. Lesso
Brandy went to pick out an outfit and changed.the clothes fit perfectly! And they were so comfortable. She could actually wear pants and hoodies. Back home, girls have to wear dresses and stuff! It was extremely frustrating...
The three girls left for the ceremony . All the Nevers pushed and shoved their way to the school for good.
