Agatha turned over the pages of the Darkhold. She'd already read everything in it, but she scoured over the runes for the answer. Rio stood behind her, looking over her shoulder. Rio couldn't read the Darkhold, since it belonged to Agatha, but Agatha knew she was nervous.

"Are you sure this is powerful enough to break our original deal?" Rio asked again.

"Let me finish looking!" Agatha replied, not taking her eyes off of it. Finally she turned a page, revealing the perfect spell.

"You found it?" Rio asked as Agatha smiled. Agatha nodded. "Good, because after this I want to finish the honeymoon without you needing to sneak off to kill anyone."

Agatha smirked. "It's called 'a spell to break a pact made with a superior entity.'"

"Perfect. That's me, a superior entity." Rio smirked and sat down beside Agatha. "What do we need to do?"

"We need a strand of your hair, a strand of my hair, a boiling pot, and this chant." Agatha used her magic to drag their stove over to them, lighting a fire under the burner. She reached and plucked out a hair from her head, Rio handing her one from hers.

Agatha dropped their strands into the hot water in the pot and grabbed Rio's arm, following the instructions in the book. "Just a warning, this might hurt."

Rio shrugged. "It's dark magic, of course it will."

Agatha smirked and tightened her grip on Rio's wrist as she started to chant. She could feel the magic coursing through her veins. Just like she'd said, pain started to wrap itself into her hand.

The pot in front of them flashed with a bright red light and Agatha and Rio crashed back into the wall, knocking down the bookshelf they had stationed there as the pot exploded.

Agatha grunted and pulled out a shard of wood from her shoulder as she and Rio sat up. Agatha looked at where the pot had been only a second earlier and saw smoke dissipating into the air. The floor was littered with fallen objects and remains from the pot.

"...did it work?" Rio asked, helping Agatha up.

Agatha nudged a few books aside with her foot. "I don't know. I think it did. But I suppose we'll just have to wait to find out."

Rio looked to Agatha and saw her bleeding shoulder. "Here, let me." She leaned over from behind Agatha and gave her broken skin a lick.

"What are you— oh," Agatha said as she watched the wound close up. "I didn't know you could do that."

"There's a lot you still don't know about me," Rio replied, gesturing with her hand and making everything return back to its original spot.

"Luckly, we have all the time you could ever need to share everything with me," Agatha raised her eyebrows.

"Well, since we have all the time in the world, we can wait," Rio grinned, wrapping her arms around Agatha from behind.

Agatha pretended to be annoyed as she rolled her eyes. "Mhmm, like you waited to tell me about Thanos?"

Rio's face dropped in anger. "That wasn't—"

Agatha grinned teasingly as Rio stopped herself. Rio's lips turned up into a smile and she laughed, realizing Agatha wasn't serious. "Wow, Agatha. Way to ruin the mood."

Agatha snickered and threw her head back into a laugh. "What? I'm just telling the truth."

"Uh-huh," Rio replied.

"How do you feel about waiting until tomorrow to collect your souls?" Agatha asked, craning her head to face Rio.

"I don't have a problem with it," Rio answered, planting a kiss on Agatha's cheek. "Besides, we have a honeymoon to enjoy."

"We don't have a honeymoon," Agatha said, smiling. "It's not like we're on a trip to Spain or anything."

"Why Spain?"

"Spanish is sexy," Agatha answered, scrunching her nose as she said it.

"Well then, mi amor, we'll go to Spain," Rio spun Agatha around, facing her.

"But that can wait," Agatha replied, tapping Rio's nose.

"What? Prefer the bedroom more right now?"

"You have no idea."

A month later:

Agatha opened her eyes to see Rio's peaceful face next to her. Agatha smiled as she took Rio in. She watched as Rio woke up, seemingly sensing Agatha's stare.

"Good morning, love," Agatha said.

"Mmm." Rio gave a sleepy smile and she turned over on her side, facing Agatha. "Buenos días para ti también."

Rio stretched her arm over Agatha, scooting closer, obviously still half-asleep.

"I love you," Agatha said softly, hugging Rio even closer, feeling the comforting warmth radiating off her skin.

"I love you too, my beautiful wife." Rio's eyes snapped open and she jerked up, staring at Agatha.

"What?" Agatha asked, watching Rio's face as a shocked expression covered it. "Don't tell me it's Thanos again."

"No, no, it's nothing like that," Rio replied slowly. A smile gradually spread across her face as she looked deep into Agatha's eyes. "Agatha, you're pregnant."

I've already written the next couple chapters and now I really need to write an AU where Nicky doesn't die because writing this is making me even more sad than I was before writing this.

I have cried happy tears and also sad tears and Marvel owes me money for therapy. Marvel owes us all money for therapy.

Have a great week, everyone!
