Boxten woke up in the middle of the night , shaking and breathing heavily due to a really bad nightmare.. again.. He sat up and looked around the room and saw everyone sleeping peacefully..

"How could anyone be sleeping? Our friends are still out there.." He thought, starting to stand up and head towards the door to leave. As he reached for the door, he quickly took another look around the room, specifically looking at Glisten, who had been helping him ever sense this whole thing started. Boxten knew something bad could happen while he was out, and he didn't want to just.. disappear.. So he frantically looked for something to write on and one of Toodle's crayons. He nervously wrote down something on the wall, his grip so tight on the crayon that it snapped in half as he finished. 

He stood back up and headed towards the door once again, quietly sneaking out of the room and towards the elevator. He was thinking deeply into what Razzle said a while ago, that Dandy possibly had something to do with Poppy and Tisha's disappearance. As he elevator reached the warehouse, Boxten had a pang of fear wash over him. He saw the warehouse completely drowned in darkness. As he stepped out of the elevator and tried his best to look around, he heard some kind of.. crunching sound..? Possibly chewing?? Boxten's body tensed up as he got closer to the sound, preparing to attack if needed, but deep down he knew he'd never actually do it. He made it around a large, metal stack of shelves with what looked like blood spewed all over the floor. He gagged quietly as he avoided stepping on the blood, taking another step closer to the sounds. As he peaked around the metal shelves, the lights in the warehouse flickered back on, revealing how badly covered the floor was in blood. Boxten covered his mouth and gasped, quickly looking around more. He froze as he heard the sounds continue right in front out him.

He turned slowly to look and saw.. Poppy and Tisha.. Boxten felt like his heart stopped as he saw them both, eating what was left of.. an arm?? A leg?? It was impossible to tell what it was before, it had been chewed to the bone already. He reached his hand out shakily, grabbing Poppy's shoulder. Poppy spun around to face Boxten, her bright red eyes glaring straight into his.

"POPPY!" Boxten yelped as he lunged onto Poppy, holding her close in a hug and sobbing.

"Oh my god.. I t- thought I'd never s- see you again!" He said through his sobs. Poppy weakly groaned and growled as Boxten held her tight, trying to claw at his back while her breathing sounded horribly wheezy. Boxten pulled from the hug as it finally hit him that sometime was off.. He looked over to Tisha who was just sitting and staring, in fact, she wasn't breathing either. Boxten inches back from them both, his hands shaking as he noticed the ichor covering their bodies. Poppy growled softly as she slowly crawled closer to Boxten. But unlike Tisha's hostile and ready-to-attack expression, Poppy seemed.. calm.. She clearly had no intention of hurting Boxten. Tears continued to flow down Boxten's face as Poppy finally stopped crawling and stood on her hands and knees in front of him, heavily and weakly breathing, her breath still sounding just as wheezy. Boxten held his hand to her cheek and sobbed a bit more.

"Oh god.. What happened to you..?" Boxten muttered as he pulled Poppy back in for a hug. This time, Poppy didn't try to fight against it.. Actually, it was almost like she was trying to hug him back. As Boxten held Poppy, he opened his eyes to see Tisha, who was still sitting still, but snarling like a feral animal. Poppy heard this snarling and quickly pulled from the hug, snapping her head to face Tisha. Both of them stood completely still, not breathing or blinking. Boxten tried to call out to get Poppy's attention, but she didn't respond.

Suddenly, after about 3 minutes of silence, Tisha lunged at Poppy, digging her sharp teeth into her neck. Poppy snarled and screeched as ichor poured from her neck. Boxten screamed and sobbed harder, inching back further and further as he watched the two fight like dogs. Tisha let out a ear-piercing scream, holding Poppy down with all her force and violently digging her teeth all over her neck and shoulders. Ichor splashed all over the ground and all over Poppy and Tisha as they continued to push each other over and snapping at their necks. Boxten was basically paralyzed in fear, feeling like he had no choice but to watch.

After what felt like an hour, Poppy and Tisha both stood up and stared at Boxten with wide, menacing eyes. Poppy's body fully turned to face him, tilting her head to the side as a small crack could be heard as she did so. Boxten whimpered and shuddered, holding one of his hands up in defense. Poppy weakly limped closer to him, ichor dripping from her mouth and all down her neck where Tisha had attacked her, leaving small puddles on the floor with each step. Boxten finally came to his senses, standing up and running for his life. 

He made it inside a dark, corner room as he watched Poppy and Tisha run by, just barely missing him. Boxten covered his mouth and fell to the floor, hyperventilating and crying, eventually crying himself to sleep.

Meanwhile, Astro was still locked inside his room, crying on the floor. Dandicus walked in, shutting the door and leaning against it with his arms folded.

"You agreed to HELP me, not try and run in the middle of my plans.." Dandicus said in a dark tone, the red dots in his pupils glowing in the dark being the only thing Astro could see through his blurry vision. Astro whimpered as he struggled to sit up, wiping his eyes and getting a better look at Dandicus.

"Pebble was going to hurt them.." Astro said softly as Dandicus snarled under her breath.

"WELL, NO SHIT!" Dandicus yelled, stepping closer. "THAT'S HIS FUCKING JOB!"

Astro stared at Dandicus in horror, standing and backing up into the end of his bed. Dandicus walked closer, now only a few inches away from Astro. Dandicus breathed heavily as grabbed Astro's wrists, pulling him closer to him.

"This mistake will not be made twice." Dandicus said with a sharp snarl. Astro fought back against Dandicus' grip on him, stretching his leg and ramming it against Dandicus' leg, in the same area of the cut Shrimpo left on him. Dandicus let out a pained screech, taking several steps back. Astro took this moment of freedom and climbed onto the bed, hoping Dandicus would give up. Dandicus looked at Astro with pure rage, his eyes completely red and ichor dripping from them. Dandicus lunged at Astro, wrapping his hands around Astros neck.

"YOU ARE GOING TO HELP ME CONTINUE THIS PROJECT, UNDERSTOOD? IF YOU DON'T, YOU'LL BE JUST AS MINDLESS AS POPPY AND TISHA!-" Dandicus screamed as his voice broke, his head twitching as spikes grew out of his forearms. Astro shakily gasped in pain as he attempted to break free from Dandicus' grip. Dandicus snarled and panted aggressively through his teeth, ichor seeping through his sharp fangs with each breath.

Dandicus blinked a few times, looking down at Astro's horrified expression. Dandicus quickly let go of Astro's neck and stumbled backwards, falling off the bed. Astro let out a painful cough before slowly peaking over the edge of the bed to see Dandicus.

"Oh shit.. SHIT! Astro, I am so sorry.. I didn't mean-"

"No.. No, it's fine.." Astro interrupted Dandicus, his eyes hazy and tired.

Dandicus quickly stood up and dusted himself off, heading out the door, leaving it open. Astro awkwardly stared around the room, waiting to see if Dandicus would come back. After about 5 minutes, Astro could just assume Dandicus wasn't coming back. Astro adjusted himself in bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about what Dandicus said to him.

Astro felt tears well up in his eyes, turning to the side. Astro looked down at his hands and had flash visions of strangling Dandicus. Astro gasped as that flashed into his mind, tears starting to fall from his eyes. Astro sobbed and hugged himself.. maybe there was a way to get out of this..
