The Date- Part 2

Clarys POV

"Jace!" I exclaim. "

*now on The Prince of Darkness*

"Jesus Christ, Jace you scared me!" I said as I place a hand over my heart. It was pounding like a faes wings. Quickly and nonslowing. All I hear though as I try to calm my breathing down is Jace laughing his butt off. As I see him double over I hit him upside the head.

"OWW!" He exclaimed as I smirked in victory, walking past him after I closed my door. "What did I do babe?" her said huffing as he rubbed the back of his head where I hit it. His golden locks bouncing a bit as he did so. "That my dear loving boyfirend was for you laughing at me AFTER you almost gave me a heart attack! Which might I add is a REALLY bad thing in the Mundane world." I said as I gave him the stink eye. In which he returned it with an innocent smile. "I didn't mean to Babe." he said as he kissed my cheek.

After rolling my eyes at him I kiss his cheek also. "It's fine now. No harm done" I say as we walk down the halls of the institute all the way to the front door. "Where are we going?" I ask curiously as I looked up at Jace. His handsome features on display for me to watch. "It's a surprise Clary, if I tell you it won't be a surprise!" he exclaimed as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I was just asking. Jeaze whats got your panties in a knot?" I ask as I see him start to relax a bit. "Nothing, just a bit stressed. You know with the Clave hounding me and stuff." he said as he sighed. "I understand" I said as I got into the black car that Jace opened the door of for me to get into. He just nodded and got in after me a smile on his lips.

"You know where to go" I hear Jace tell the driver as the car started moving. A smile on my lips as I relax and rest my head on his shoulder while he held my hand. "You know you didn't have to do all this Jace" I said softly as I looked up at him. "I know, but I wanted today to be special... It is our Anniversary after all." he said back with a chuckle. "Still, I would have been happy with just us in the Greenhouse." I say. "But going out is alright to" I said with a smile. Jace looked at me with a smile before kissing my lips softly. He tasted like lemons and pepper. Something so weird that you'd think it was bad, but on Jace it tasted and smelled amazing. "I love you" I whispered against his lips as I pulled away with a small smile. "And I love you." he said with a smile as well. 

Soon enough and much to my displeasure the limo stopped. "So... are you going to tell me where we are now?" I asked Jace. "You'll see babe" he said before the driver opened the door helping me out. "Thank you" I said and he smiled before Jace stepped out. I notice a dark hidden expression in the drivers eyes behind his kind demeanor. I frowned a bit but shook it off not wanting to ruin the mood. Since Jace had worked so hard to plan this, and I didn't want to worry him. Grabbing his arm we walked hand in hand to the restaurant only for me to realize we where at RUNES. The most famous and popular restaurant in the Shadow World. "Oh My Raziel! Jace you didn't!" I exclaimed as I looked at the restaurant then back at him. "Oh but I did" he replied as we got to the door. Jace opened it for me and I couldn't stop my giggle as he did a silly bow. "Come on I'm hungry" I said and he chuckled coming after me. Once we got to the till Jace drew a special rune and we were led to our table. A secluded table with a witchlight stone in the center. "Whoa" I whispered as I sat down in the chair across from Jace. "Yeah whoa" he said with a smile. 

"So Clary I wanted to ask you-" Jace said only to be interrupted by Xavier. "Sorry to interrupt but your meals are ready" he said as two waiters brought us our food. "On the house along with a bottle of champagne." Xavier poured us each a glass of the bubbly gold liquid. "Thank you Xavier" both myself and Jace said at the same time. He nodded at us then left leaving us by ourselves. Just as I was about to take a bit out of the yummy food in front of me Jace interrupted me. "Clary" He said softly as he got up and walked over to my side. "J-Jace" I stuttered a bit as I looked up at him. "I've loved you since we first met, even if it was at Pandemonium. I love your hair, your eyes, your mouth, your personality. Gosh I love the way you laugh and are happy all the time. You're my red haired girl, and I can't get you out of my head. You're there ALL the time. Plus you drive me crazy. In a good way off course" he said as he held my hand. "And well what I guess I'm trying to say is," he said shakily as he got down on one knee. "Will you Clarissa Fairchild marry me, Jace Herondale?" My eyes widened as I looked at Jace as he proclaimed his love for me. "Yes! I mean of course I'll marry you Jace!" I squeaked out before kissing him. Once we pulled apart I saw Jace put his Herondale family ring go onto my finger. It was Shadowhunter tradition of course. 

That was the last thing I remembered, his face glowing with a smile before I was pulled away and all I saw was his figure fighting to get to me. Before it all went black.

A/N

Oh. My. Gosh. It's almost been a year since I last updated this story. Honestly I was in  complete writers block mode. Plus this week I am competing in a music competition, so I'll try my best to update again once I'm done. But for now I hope you all enjoy this update. {Sorry for any grammar mistakes, its almost midnight here} Alas! I have been inspired so hopefully more updates... Wish me luck Shadowhunters! Oh, and who here has watched the new Shadowhunters TV show? I have, not gonna lie not a huge fan, but I watch it because it's funny at times. Fingers crossed that gets better.
